So are the banks saying if you are not far left then you cannot bank with them so that means over 60% of the uk people cannot have a bank account.

Abolish the Lords as well as reforming the banks and their legal obligations to the public! It was very different in 2008 when they needed the taxpayers to bail them out , and bank corruption was rife!!!!

There are firm laws that governments and institutions are not allowed to render people "Stateless" … If you have no bank account you might as well be "Stateless"…It should be a human right to have a bank account as long as it is not used to facilitate proven criminal activity.

No digital currency. No vaccine passports. No social credit scores.
This is noticed in the USA and Canada and no doubt many other countries.

If a person is not allowed a bank account their only alternative to survive is a life of crime. How clever of the banks !

  32. @mikehopkins4040

    January 3, 2024 at 6:22 am

Keeping cash yes but we need to stop the closing of high street banks they are closing at an alarming rate forcing us into internet banking.
Everytime you use plastic the bank makes a profit.
    Use cash where you can.

More and more people ,businesses and politicians are coming out saying the same thing is happening to them and their families. So this has to stop. Coutts bank is being rightly targeted over this.

This is those anti brexit anti democracy leftists, WEF/WHO Liebour you name them on the left of politics who want control of the country and the people, once they control the people they control the finances, and if you want the perfect example of a left wing admin in operation look north of the border and all the missing money!! They did not like the vote to leave the EU so now what they've done is first got rid of Boris who pushed brexit over the line against what those in parliament wanted, now they are trying to get rid of Farage who stood against thise in the Failing EU and got brexit started. once they silence them they will start on the rest of us and rejoin the failing EU, anyone who gets in the way of what they want they will cancel, and that is what is happenng, remember 2019 when three party's Liebour led by Corbyn with Sir Beer Korma as his deputy who was organising pro EU rallies and promoting Corbyn for PM, then the LIe Dems, and the Scottish Mafia, the SNP who formed a coalition in our parliament and tried to stop brexit being enacted, But Boris stood in their way!! THESE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO SILENCE THE DEMOCRATIC VOTE OF THE BRITISH PEOPLE, THEY ARE TRYING TO SILENCE US, THAT'S WHAT COMMUNISTS DO!!

  36. @icarus877

    January 3, 2024 at 6:22 am

The pretence by the first two commentators that this is not political is for the birds. Just got to use the second commentators reference to the USA and how it is used over there – well Hunter Biden had 150 suspicious account infringements and he still has bank accounts. Stop trying to BS us guys.

  37. @markchadbourne8049

    January 3, 2024 at 6:22 am

Oh what fluff. Nigel Farage has not been money laundering. This money laundering concern has nothing to do with why they are closing peoples accounts. It is humanely wrong on every level. This should be outlawed, period.

  38. @markchadbourne8049

    January 3, 2024 at 6:22 am

Your political views are non of the banks business. If we have to function with banks then they should be forced to provide bank accounts. This BS should stop now.
