    aaah, core the parsnips!

  3. @j.rinker4609

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

We love parsnips. I guess they're generally pressure cooked then fried around here, though my brother made a cake/quick bread with them once. U.S. grocery stores sell them, but sometimes the clerks don't know what they are.

Would've liked some Rosemary on the Ricotta^^

Hi guys. I’ve watched your channel for so long but I’m a keto girl and every thing you make is full of sugar. It’s been fun but I’m done as too many carbs! Care about your audience. I know the money is not there but it’s the right thing to do – just look at ben! Love the guy but it’s hard. Take care. ❤️

Jamie’s spontaneity would probably give me a mental breakdown if we were cooking together because it’s not always for the good and means there’s no guarantee what he’ll contribute because he doesn’t follow a plan but acts on instinct 😂

  7. @ethancampbell215

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

I wonder whether there are any recipes in one of the books featured on the channel that had any slight relation to Christmas because I think that would’ve been interesting to watch

  8. @shuyin1111

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

I think it's unfair that Ebbers, who is a trained chef, gets a total of 1.5hrs to cook where the norms only have 45mins.

  9. @cmacuf

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

    4:45 killed me

  10. @Rippingfiction

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

"Christmas-like ingredients" and there's absolutely nothing in those ingredients that says Christmas aside from like potatoes xD (I know it's a cultural difference but I just thought it was funny)

    Well done Mike.

I always find it odd that "waste" in these videos is basically defined as "whatever isn't being used" when often the "waste" is stuff that's perfectly good and could be put in the fridge or freezer to use another day.

  14. @yeahcece

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

i would love if you did a food video that is geared towards neurodivergent food , i love the zero waste aspect but most of the food is to out there and i would just waste it

  15. @dg5522

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

8:30am in Canada and I’m jonesing for parsnip soup with blue cheese crumbles. I guess, I need to warm up the car and head to the shops. 🥣

    7:33 nice fist bump 😂😂😂

  18. @ccruzp06

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

All I could think of during this video was "blue cheese has mold in it"

  19. @julieferguson5867

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

    😂

  20. @bloemundude

Ben's commentary always makes me shard myself.

    I love ben ❤ always !!!!

  22. @mallowhoney

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

At the very beginning I thought he was gonna say "ugh blue milk!" and idk if it's the same in the uk but in the us the milk lids are largely color coded lol. I was like "what, is blue skim in the uk?"
The color coding isn't standardized or anything but whatever government subsidized brand of milk will use all the same color for one type of milk (whole, 2%, vitamin D, skim, generally) and the store generic usually matches it to make it easier to see at a glance. This doesn't apply to the "fancy" brands of milk, they just use whatever packaging they want.

  23. @kaemincha

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

I honestly would love a few minutes of added explicit planning time. Maybe 5-10 minutes?

  24. @hhykelly

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

    Looks good~
Though I personally wouldn't call parsnip soup with puff pastry shards a feast 😅

  25. @KnubbelKekz

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

I have never seen anyone be as happy about Brussel Sprouts as Barry and I love it xD

  26. @MrGIBURROWS

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

How about the food team vs the chef and the normals?!?

  27. @TheTigerTye

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

I find it rather difficult to be enthusiastic about your videos, beyond the obvious comedic value, as you constantly use ingredients I don't like or can't afford.

  28. @rasto62

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

I love the ideas here but often find that the dishes in these challenges contain little or no protein-rich ingredients like beans, fish, or meat. How come?

  29. @Missmethinksalot1

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

Food team keeps bringing their A game!

  30. @Rei.Eatsfoods

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

I laughed so many times. Mike was like a stressed housewife, I love him.

  31. @jiyeonstick

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

Loveeeee this grocery challenges – gives me the most practical ideas for prepping my own meal at home

  32. @Joe___R

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

It is very easy when you are all the time in the world to figure out what you want to make and pick shared ingredients to make them.

  33. @kaitlinsebbage2120

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

I feel like the guys deserve a bit of thinking time before these. I feel so sorry for Mike, he's so accommodating he keeps getting stuck.

  34. @raideurng2508

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

I see, so the guys get 30 minutes in the cubicle of the kitchen and Ben gets 90…… hmmmmm….
Let's be honest, anyone whose tried to cook at home with more than one person in the kitchen knows that's not helpful, it's a way to make enemies.

  35. @alblin

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

Y'all need to give the lads at least 5 minutes planning time. Making ANYTHING in 30m is difficult, without everything else they have to achieve here.

  36. @natwandering

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

love the couscous and brussell sprouts in the microwave idea! will def. try!

  37. @drawyourbook876

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

I love that you are going a lot more vegan/vegetarian lately 🙂

  38. @ryanclark6402

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

Wow, shaved sprouts and diced sweet potato couscous is actually something I make fairly regularly. Add some dark red kidney beans, season/dress to taste, and you have a heck of a midweek.

  39. @EmilyJelassi

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

I love videos like this! Seeing what the boys come up with on the fly vs what the food team comes up with is fascinating!

  40. @CarlGorn

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

The best way to serve blue cheese it to feed it to the bin. 🤢

  41. @rosequill7925

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

I would have liked to see the amount of food waste Ben made compared to Barry, Mike, and Jamie

  42. @GhostV2

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

The videos like this one and the last one similar to it (where you had the Blackberry Meatball Aligot) were the reason my wife and I signed up for the Sidekick App. They really show off the recipes that can come from a pile of ingredients that you wouldn't think of, and I definitely think you should do more of them in the future!

  43. @dafyddf4541

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

Ben's reaction to Jamie stacking the pastry layers has had me wheezing lol

  44. @johnboy79606

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

One day on a work party in the woods. We cooked a Squirrel and did Stinging Nettle Tea! I would love to see a Challenge! 🙃😉

  45. @alicerobinson2429

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

Ben’s distress at Jamie at 5:14 is so hilarious omg

  46. @kennythefrog1

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

The contrast of Ben's 30 mins and the utter chaos of the normals is the funniest ever.

  47. @erindennis7228

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

But the food team gets to think ahead… the boys could do better if they had thinking time too

  48. @bekind3931

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

This video makes me realize how diff the ingredients for ‘Christmas food’ are in the U.S. compared to Britain.

  49. @TheMisterGege1

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

Wow, a rare vegetarian episode. More of them please.

  50. @lpmadnae

    January 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm

Jamie and Barry’s failed fist bump at the end of their cooking made my day 😂
