Sturgeon Demands Scottish Independence. Will She Get It? – TLDR Explains

Published

In last week’s general election the SNP got a huge boost in the polls, gaining a majority of seats in Scotland and a plurality of votes. This leads some to believe that the party has the mandate to call for a second Scottish independence referendum. However, the Conservatives won a commanding majority in Westminster and they definitely don’t want to see the issue brought up again. In this video, we discuss how Scotland voted and how the GE might impact the odds of Scottish Independence.

People should remember ! Scotland has its own LAW ! Not always the same as England's Law ! The Will of the Population of Scotland will determine, when Scottish independence happens ! The E.U. Has said it will Except us Back when Independence is voted for by its Population. It is called DEMOCRACY.

SNP are anti English which is racisim. If you don't believe me why do they wish to be a member of the Multi cultural EU but not English. Kinda reminds you of the Nazis and Jewish nation. Nationalism is dangerous as it segregation and smells of racism .

It's the people of Scotland that want Independence, and it it's the will of the people that will force the referendum through.

“Will she get it”!! It’s not something that she is trying to achieve on her own! There are millions of people in Scotland who have elected the party that she leads and represents

The irony is that if the whole of the UK had a vote in a new Scottish referendum, the English will/could just get it over the line for the Scots, mostly tired of their whining.

This is a turning point for Britain it won't be called the United Kingdom anymore as Scotland will soon be Independent, N Ireland will soon join Ireland so Wales and England will have to be called rUK (rest of the UK) or little Britain.

    January 2, 2024 at 1:12 am

This woman is a racist, anything English is Tory. The people voted the Tories in by a democratic vote. Like the Tories I don't trust the tartan tory SNP. Everything is falling down about us in Scotland. Education and the NHS failures are just the start. Wasted £millions. More children in poverty, more foodbanks than ever, Dundee drugs capital of Europe. You can't blame everything on Westminster. I for one have had enough of these over paid politicians. Sturgeon, Swinney, Freeman, Forbes Russell and not forgetting the Westminster idiots Blackford, Cherry, Wishart, Law, Sheridan etc etc milking the Westminster gravy train. This is a total disaster waiting to happen. "Bank of Sturgeon" my god what a thought. Heinous woman and a bloody disgusting party. Money grabbers. No thought for the people.

We will always support the Scottish people! Independence for freedom and human rights! With Britain, there is no future! Only when you leave England can you live better! Britain is only a colony of America, and they do everything for the benefit of America!

  28. @martindornan1667

    January 2, 2024 at 1:12 am

In an independent Scotland the Scottish people would be governed by the government that they vote for and not be governed by the government that another country voted for.

  29. @mrennie5158

    January 2, 2024 at 1:12 am

Sorry it's not for the SNP to "get" more Scots to back independence – Scotland is asking them to get it for us. We're not herded about and told what to think by our politicians up here. That's why we have a good political reputation.

The Scots seem to forget that they have plundered England for hundreds of years. If you get independance and then realise you have no economy worth a damn don,t blame the English and don,t ask for aid and handouts please. Did you know Robert the Bruce fought and killed more scots than English in his rise to power.

So what do these traitors want?
A United ireland against the will of its Protestant population?
    A broken away Scotland?
    A broken up uk?
    The abolition of the monarchy?
I pray to god every night none of these ever occur

  34. @pmoneyyy8063

We need a king or queen if we will have independence!

  35. @alfredocoelho8088

    January 2, 2024 at 1:12 am

Inflamatory language??? What is inflamatory here is the attitude of Conservatives, who want to keep Scotland within the failed breexited UK union.

  36. @Shmingleshmangle

    January 2, 2024 at 1:12 am

It's not just exclusively SNP voters who back independence, plenty of Labour and almost every Greens voter support it.

  37. @medeniofacaselnshs6163

    January 2, 2024 at 1:12 am

People say they want independence and I understand, but what I will say is this. If Scotland were to go solo, it would be a forgotten about island with no money. Sturgeon is crazy and a lot of the people who voted leave just want to go without understanding what that looks like. I’m aware that’s how brexit was, but that’s how it is with these things that the general public doesn’t look into. The EU could welcome Scotland, but it would be a bad deal. They don’t care about Scotland( I know the people of europe do I mean the rigged parliament of the EU) that’s why the U.K. left. It’s a place of spotlight for France Germany Italy and a few others, and a place where smaller places get absolutely no seats, and therefore no say in what happens. But I wish Scotland the best either way.

  38. @JBAIMARK3

    January 2, 2024 at 1:12 am

Selfishly I hope not, but I totally see how I might not feel that way if I weren't English, I see this whole move to devolve all centralized power as playing into the hands of bigger players that really don't share the same values, China literally harvests organs from prisoners, and Putin is only maybe a touch better, meanwhile the US is taking a step back. Leaving the EU was a bitter pill for me, and I'd rather Britain as a whole reapply for membership next 10-20 years than have the entire interwoven island fall apart for the sake of even more independence.

This needs to be updated. Latest polls show 54%, and rising, of people living in Scotland want to dissolve the Union.
