Will robots take our jobs and if so which ones? BBC News
Subscribe to BBC News www.youtube.com/bbcnews
It’s very clear by now that technology has automated many of tasks we once had to labour through – but what about your job? According to a survey of 1,900 experts by the Pew Research Center, an overwhelming majority believe artificial intelligence will have a very big part in our lives by 2025. Some experts, however, say this might not be totally to our advantage. The BBC’s David Botti looks at the survey and other studies to find out what the future may hold.

Cyber Attack: Ransomware causing chaos globally – BBC News
Tens of thousands of organisations have been caught out by a computer virus called WannaCry. The malicious software locks data away and demands a payment of up to $300 (£230) a time before it will restore scrambled files. In the UK, many hospitals fell victim and some health organisations diverted ambulances and cancelled non-essential services as they sought to contain and clean up the infection. Infections in more than 99 nations are being reported by security firms. It appears that the hardest hit are Russia and Spain.

Is this AI’s moment of truth? | BBC News
A year ago, artificial intelligence was being sold as something close to science fiction — a technology that could transform society, cure disease, even reshape the global economy.
Today, the tone is changing. The companies leading the revolution are racing to the stock market — chasing billions in investment — while quietly confronting a much harder reality: AI is expensive, unpredictable, and far from profitable.
At the same time, some of the very people building this technology are warning we may be going too fast — even calling for a global pause.
And beyond Silicon Valley, a different story is emerging: growing public anxiety, political backlash, and the rise of what some are calling anti-AI populism.
So is AI entering its most pivotal moment yet — caught between financial pressure, technological risk, and political resistance?
AI Decoded Presenter Christian Fraser is joined by Financial Times AI Editor Madhumita Murgia, Thematic Strategist at Deutsche Bank Research Adrian Cox and Richard Coffin, Host of popular investing podcast ‘ The Plain Bagel’.

I think those spiritual gurus, redpill gurus and other ones who preach in the internet that people should quit their 9 to 5 jobs are told to do so by the secret controllers of this world. They want us to hate doing those kind of jobs so that we'll gradually let robots do those for us.
Tell them to stop doing those kind of jobs (without robots) and society and civilizations will crumble. We can't make everyone happy. And some people are just okay doing those kind of jobs.

Don't think that genetically modified people are not walking among you. A Chinese researcher by the name of He Jiankui modified the genes of twins .
Yes. It's real "Jiankui" engineered twin girls—offspring of a healthy mother and an HIV-positive father. The twin girls were born to be resistant to HIV, the virus that causes AIDS- by using a nascent gene-editing technology called Crispr-Cas9 stunning the global scientific community… Look it up!

"Make sure ur kids are stupid and dont learn the uses of a computer, instead learn to be brainless football players" fucking amercican govt propaganda now showing up on bbc! Fyi, curators at museums have mostly been replaced already by automated systems, often using touch pad sensors to initiate the programming…. shitty news, shitty info, completely false with no evidence backing… bbc reporting is really slipping.
