Japan tells young people to drink more alcohol – BBC News
Japanese officials are asking people in their 20s and 30s to drink more alcohol to boost the country’s economy.
Younger generations in Japan drink less alcohol on average, compared to the drinking culture often found in older generations.
A new campaign has been set up by the country’s National Tax Agency to find new ways to encourage its youth to drink more often.

Iceland on track to reject EU referendum as counting nears end | BBC News
Iceland has voted against resuming membership talks with the European Union, public broadcaster RUV has reported, with just one constituency’s votes left to count.
It reported that 52.5% of the 188,496 votes so far counted had rejected the government’s proposal, while 47.5% had said yes. Some 9,500 votes separated them.
Prime Minister Kristrún Frostadóttir’s centre-left government promised to hold a referendum by 2027, but brought it forward because of international tensions, including US President Donald Trump’s threats against Greenland.

Was Japan drunk when they told young people to drink more? This is really disgusting and can potentially destroy many young souls.

Telling them to drink more is an incredibly retarded idea, did they not discuss this big, serious idea AT ALL? Did they not TRY to think of other ideas? Are they at least aware of the high/low number of ratings on certain subjects that brings negative impact to their country and society that they should be able to solve?

I feel so sorry for the young people growing up in Japan from being taught at school that being perfect in every category is correct and failing is wrong to having nothing to look forward to once they graduate apart from long work hours at a companies that see them as little more than slaves just to be used not people (longer work hours will definitely make it harder for the average person to consider being in a relationship which is why the amount of births in Japan is falling quickly and the overall population is getting smaller) then when working many workers are forced to come and drink after work by their bosses (and they can't say no as it will anger their bosses because in Japan Traditions it is considered rude not to drink) and now their own Government who is supposed to be helping them is encouraging them to drink even more! The future of Japan looks bleaker and bleaker every day! Soon Japan will start to mirror Societies that are in Dystopian fiction novels (If Japan hasn't already started looking like a Dystopian Country at this point) What a shame Japan, it seems the only thing advanced about the Country now is the Technology and nothing more!

In Islam it is haraam to drink alcohol or to sell it, carry it or help with it in any way whatsoever, because Allaah (God) says (interpretation of the meaning):
“O you who believe! Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks), and gambling, and Al‑Ansaab (stone altars for sacrifices to idols etc), and Al‑Azlaam (arrows for seeking luck or decision) are an abomination of Shaytaan’s (Satan’s) handiwork. So avoid (strictly all) that (abomination) in order that you may be successful”
Quran
[al-Maa’idah 5:90]
The Messenger (Muhammad) of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“Allaah has cursed alcohol, the one who drinks it, the one who pours it, the one who sells it, the one who buys it, the one who squeezes (the grapes etc), the one for whom it is squeezed, the one who carries it and the one to whom it is carried.”

Find me someone who doesn't drink alcohol, not a leftist lunatic, nor a religious fanatic. The world falls into at least one of these 3 categories statistically speaking.
