My daughter raged at me for saying that I don't think Farage should have lost his bank account, over his political opinions.
The left have lost their minds at this point and they're taking our youth with them. Without realising it, they're supporting fascism, in the name of equity and inclusion.
Where is this inclusion they speak of? Because it looks like ideology to me, when only one opinion is allowed, even if you are black, gay or trans. The worst racism I have ever seen, for example, is when black conservatives air their views. Second, is how white men are treated, by people claiming to fight racism?
Nobody should lose their right to partake in civil society, because their views don't echo the establishments agenda driven rhetoric.

Isnt this routine if you don't meet the finacial qualifying criteria for an accoun at this (or any?) bank?
So the first question to ask is does Farage still meet the financial criteria?
If he does then I fully back his claim. If he doesn't then he is, it seems to me, demonstrating the accuracy of the quoye fir the 12000 word report "disingenuous grifter". Or at minimum thriwing his toys out if the pram?
And I would add if no "poltical debanking" is to be a mantra and a policy it has to be universal?
I suspect this would be much less if a bruhaha if the politics of the folk being cancelled were not shared by GB News etal?

There is nothing special abouts Coutts Bank its just a subsidiary of the Nat West, you just need a lot of money to have an accout, this action by the bank can backfire dramatically as everyone who has an account with the Nat West can shut the bank down within one week, people have the power we just need to get together & sort things out.

Nonsense! Farage always blames the EU for all the negatives.The truth, however, is that Farage had an account with the private bank Coutts. There, however, one must have invested at least one million pounds with the bank – or have at least three million pounds in savings. Farage had permanently fallen short of both hurdles.

So Nige loses his Coutts 'Man of the People' bank account, is offered an alternative at Nat West, and lies about it. Farage is unlikely to be broke but has probably allowed his balance at Coutts to drop below the required millions by investing in overseas tax havens. New bank regs came into force recently that make it more difficult for financial ducker and divers to hold UK bank accounts, look here first. Farage defenders are going to look very silly when the truth comes out.

Someone's not being honest.
Farage says he was told weeks ago that Coutts was closing his accounts.
He says he was only offered a NatWest account on Thursday night after he'd gone very public about the bank throwing him to the kerb.
He says NatWest have offered him a personal account but not a business account however he cannot operate his personal account without his business account because his business account generates all his income.
He further says that he has spent 10 years below the Coutts wealth eligibility thresholds without a comment from Coutts.
Coutts say he's being kicked out for falling below wealth thresholds not because he's a PEP (politically exposed person).
Farage says he's not been able to get an account anywhere else either because he's a PEP.
Looks to my untrained eye that Coutts or its parent NatWest has booted him out for being a a PEP using the mendacious excuse that it's for falling below wealth limits (10 years late if Farage is to be believed)

What power the banks will have, when we will be a cashless Society? No matter how much 'money' you will have, they will have the power to take the lot and make your account void! Where will you go to complain, when the politicians will be in the same bed as the Banks!
