Lets try and be fair, there are basicly two paths to go down and they have chosen one. We will now just have to wait and see what happens. At least they are helping us to get through the winter which is the first thing to worry about.

Easy seeing Cressida Dick didn’t catch any criminal while doing nothing while in charge of the London Met as they were all sitting in Westminster and Downing Street. Strange why people of colour would support the country that inflicted slavery on them , now their sitting inside the same colonists carbuncle called the Westminster parliament . Enemy to all and friend to few, very few.

Europe buying LNG from China , China buys gas from Russia half the price and selling to Europe double price. The profit of Gazprom is historic high. The Eu and UK sanctions rise the gas price to sky high. This is good for USA, China, Russia and who suffers? Europe . A strong European/german economy based on cheap Russian gas scares the hell out of the USA. Russia is burning 10 million USD worth of gas in 1 day near the Finnish border. This is stupid. Russia is agressor, yes but it had legit security concerns and the west completely ignored it for USA pressure. Europe is USA's bitch. this is not cost of living crisis. this is cost of freedom. The west decided to pay it for Ukraine. Do not whine pin the ukrainian flag onto your shirt and enjoy the western living standard while it lasts

I truly think that Truss and co knows that they will lose the next election badly so they are now giving away the assets to friends and family

Research Keynesian Neoliberalism economics AKA modern monetary theory and you will see why the West has stopped growing economically. Finally some real Conservatives with the courage to put all that nonsense in the bin

Kwasi has discovered the magic money tree? Or is he just going to borrow shedloads of money that our grandchildren can look forward to paying back?

Truss is already talking like johnson 'the high cost of energy is a price worth paying'. Exactly what johnson said 3 months ago, it's all scripted the plan continues

Less of the us against them attitude and report what the budget may bring. Will cuts drive inflation and increase borrowing, will they increase growth?

  20. @Bobisalive

    December 26, 2023 at 12:53 am

Not sure lowering corporation tax will actually help small businesses. Most small businesses I know try to operate with the lowest profit margin as possible (covering everything on the books as they dont have shareholders etc) so they wouldn't pay much coperation tax anyway.

    December 26, 2023 at 12:53 am

Good hope we get huge tax cuts for people and businesses. Let's get fracking let's get pumping let's get building. Lets get tenements pulled down. Lets build infrastructure railways roads. Lets rebuild our gas reserve tanks and push forward with protecting free speech

Watch as Will Kensington expresses concern about the state of the UK, arguing that Downing Street is no longer a place of power but has instead become Britain’s most expensive Airbnb.
