The Duke of York speaks to the Archbishop of Canterbury, who is a Honorific Jesuit. He cannot be a Friar, you see.

Where was his moral compass at all of his peers when children were being molested? Funny how he’s not kicked up a fuss about that. Picking and choosing his hostile and bigoted views that harm human beings. What’s wrong Vicar? No children who won’t fight back against you?

Good on YBS for closing this bigots account. You want customers who are tolerant of others and add enrichment to society. You did the right thing getting rid of this man.

There has to be a space in society for traditional, conservative ideas. Not that one can be banished from society for following one's religious teachings. Commercial enterprises in particular have no business interrogating one's personal beliefs and judging them.

Is the church of England having any problems with holding a bank account? Have they Christian views and a set of values that the banks are offended with?

Don't know about Britain but problem in Australia's Banks and Parliament is that there are too many Poofters and Lesbians in it. People like that have no morals nor are they brains capable of producing rational decisions to benefit a Society as a whole.

Go Nationwide mate. They seem the only ones who realize they do what the people want and that's it.
Like an actor these banks should just shut up and get on with their job.

Its hilarious the lefties suddenly sticking up for and supporting millionaire bank employees, simply because they stopped Farage's account.

I'm a Church of England member and, in my opinion, the vicar was wrong on every level.
He is God and his son Jesus Christ's, representative here on Earth. As such, I expect him to have and show more humility, empathy and respect for his fellow human beings who are all God's creations. His job is to teach us God's word, not his own.
Point of interest. The "trans flags" he was referring to were actually LGBTQ flags representing a wide variety of people including lesbians, gays, bisexuals and yes also transsexuals.
If Jesus walked into the Yorkshire building society during Pride month, he would no doubt congratulate them on their inclusivity of all of his father's creations.

Take your money out and start a credit union. The church was once the heart of banking.

Because what the gay community really really needs is a bunch of brainless, Americanised activists stirring up resentment towards them.

Banks are there to manage money, nothing else, none of their business what people think about anything.

Homosexuals are getting to big for their boots , and I say homosexual not “gay” because they stole that word from common usage, it really means happy, and now they want the word “pride” also to be synonymous with homosexuality , and what about the rainbow that belongs to everyone , but you would not think so.

As a lesbian, I do not support the trans agenda! Check Jennifer Bilek to understand who is behind the trans lobby. It's very concerning that banks are now blatantly canceling accounts. Cashless society will be a nightmare.

  27. @philiprandall473

    December 24, 2023 at 6:19 pm

Fascinating and yet for years and years and still the Christian churches have dictated how we are supposed to think. They have excommunicated people who don’t think the way that they think and the way that they promote life should be. Touché dear vicar, touché.

And as for protecting children what does the Catholic Church have to say about that
