Novak Djokovic breaks silence over Covid vaccine refusal – BBC News
Tennis star Novak Djokovic has said he would rather miss out on future trophies than be forced to get a Covid vaccine.
Speaking exclusively to the BBC, he said he should not be associated with the anti-vax movement, but supported an individual’s right to choose.
The Serbian was asked if he would sacrifice taking part in competitions such as Wimbledon and the French Open over his stance on the vaccine.

The US said it has hit “dozens” of Iranian military targets in overnight attacks, in response to Iran hitting commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
The military said it struck “air-defense systems, coastal radar sites, missile and drone capabilities, and small boats”, using aircraft, ships, and drones – including “one-way attack sea drones for the first time”.
“The Strait of Hormuz is a vital maritime corridor for global trade,” the US military said. “Iran does not control it”.
In response, Iran said it targeted US bases in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait and also radar systems in Oman.

President Donald Trump has said the US is reinstating a naval blockade of Iranian ports and will impose a 20% charge on all cargo shipped through the Strait of Hormuz following days of escalating strikes between the two countries.
He said this would stop “Iran’s ships or customers” from entering or leaving the key oil shipping route, but “all other countries will have fair and open use of the Strait”.
Iran’s foreign minister later said whoever provides safe passage “should be compensated for this service”, but Iran would remain the strait’s “GUARDIAN” – using Trump’s word.
Tehran and Washington clashed over the strait’s control after exchanging strikes in the region overnight and on Monday.
The US said it carried out strikes against military targets in Iran, targeting air defence systems, coastal radars, and missile and drone sites. Iran said it responded by striking US military bases in Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain, and radars in Oman.

Explosions have been heard near two Iranian port cities, Bandar Abbas and Bushehr, state media has reported.
It comes after another night of strikes between the US and Iran, with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps saying it hit two UAE tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and targeted US facilities in Jordan and Bahrain.
The UAE called the attack “brazen”, adding that an Indian crew member was killed and eight others were injured.
Meanwhile, the US military says it completed strikes on targets aimed at degrading “Iran’s ability to attack commercial shipping” – Iranian state media reports three people were killed.

The US military said it was carrying out a new wave of strikes on targets in Iran. It said the aim of the attacks was to degrade Iranâs ability to attack shipping in the strait of Hormuz. It came ass the US Navy resumed its blockade of Iranâs ports.
Iran said that control of the strait of Hormuz was required for its national security and it will exercise sovereignty over the key shipping lane, whatever the cost.
President Trump announced that he was scrapping a plan he had announced a day earlier, for placing a 20% toll or tariff on all cargos passing through the strait of Hormuz.

Itâs pretty revealing how the BBC guy responds to a person with principles. A shocked gasp and disbelief followed by why, why, why shows how unhinged the BBC is. The BBC employees seem to be unethical and morally bankrupt like their paymasters. I do not support platforming these fringe groups like BBC since it is propaganda. I have met a few folks after they've been vaccinated and it was exactly how I warned them it would be prior to doing so. It has turned some, if not all of them, into some of the most irritating persons I have ever encountered, plus constantly riddled with flu symptoms. I haven't had even so much as a cold in 5 years, come January 2024. I was warned it was coming at least 4 years before it did, by someone who has since been removed by youtube.

The MRNA vaccine is not a vaccine it is dangerous gene therapy, it contains graphine oxide, nano particle chains of concentrated enzymeâs. Good on him. His body his choice. I took one Flu shot 10 years ago and was very sick so it was not for me. I also decided not to take these experimental covid vaccines . Yes i caught covid and yes I survived along with my non jabbed now 97 year old mother. I was not put in fear because of covid but more fear from the governments and people's reactions and attitude towards me not having it. Still here and feeling good đ

A battle for Real freedom! The choice on how to protect your health it is a personal decision.Guaranteed by all fundamental codes and laws!! We all need to get the real informations regarding vaccines or health. And the authorities are not helping us to get those information properly. They are inflicting manipulation and lies constantly in every realm of life. Not only on healt issues!!! And this is an experience that I've got for the last 30-40 years not just in the last 2 or 3. Furthermore It gives strong suspects the violence with which they are forcing people to obey these decisions without possibilities of exceptions. There are many reasons for exceptions but are not tollerated! For these simple reasons I support strongly and admire N. Djokovic
