Ukraine launches missile attack on Crimea, Russia says – BBC News
Russia says Ukraine has launched 10 missiles and three unmanned boats in an attack on the home of its Black Sea fleet in Crimea.
The attack caused a large fire at a Sevastopol shipyard which left 24 people injured, Russia said.
Moscow-installed governor Mikhail Razvozhayev claimed most of the weapons were intercepted.
Russia said two of its ships were damaged as a result of hits by cruise missiles.

Iceland has voted against resuming membership talks with the European Union, public broadcaster RUV has reported, with just one constituency’s votes left to count.
It reported that 52.5% of the 188,496 votes so far counted had rejected the government’s proposal, while 47.5% had said yes. Some 9,500 votes separated them.
Prime Minister Kristrún Frostadóttir’s centre-left government promised to hold a referendum by 2027, but brought it forward because of international tensions, including US President Donald Trump’s threats against Greenland.

The British, sending their missiles to Ukraine against the Russians, do not think about the long-term consequences. Firstly, it prolongs the agony of Ukraine and increases the number of people killed. Secondly, sooner or later this boomerang will return to the British, and then British mothers will cry. The war cannot be stopped by missiles. Rockets can only cause trouble.

Paul Adams let slip that Sevastopol is the heart of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. The British know well from their history that both Sevastopol and Crimea are Russian lands. Why are they shouting that Russia has occupied Crimea? And how should the Russians treat the British after that?

Is that true or did you see it on the BBC . The Russian fleet is sunk , Putin gave his most sophisticated air defence system the weekend off just as the fleet hit town . During The Austrian wars of succession in the 1740s, the Napoleonic Wars, The Greek Wars of Independence (Battle of Navarino 1827) , the First World War and then WW2 Britain was allied with Russia.
