Ukraine launches missile attack on Crimea, Russia says – BBC News
Russia says Ukraine has launched 10 missiles and three unmanned boats in an attack on the home of its Black Sea fleet in Crimea.
The attack caused a large fire at a Sevastopol shipyard which left 24 people injured, Russia said.
Moscow-installed governor Mikhail Razvozhayev claimed most of the weapons were intercepted.
Russia said two of its ships were damaged as a result of hits by cruise missiles.

Seven people have died after a passenger boat capsized near northern Cyprus.
Search and rescue operations are under way to find 23 people missing, said Ünal Üstel, prime minister of the self-declared Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
He says 267 people were on board the vessel when it capsized, and 237 have been rescued.
The boat left from the northern Cypriot port of Kyrenia at 11:58 local time (09:58 BST) and officials said it capsized around four nautical miles into its journey to Turkey.

Ukraine’s progress against Russian forces in its southern regions of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia has been far more limited than its successes in the north-east.
Both sides come under regular fire as they rely heavily on artillery to push forward.
The crackdown on people who do not support Russian rule in occupied areas is rising, with soldiers going door-to-door to check on who lives in each house and whether they could be drafted into fighting for Russia.

The government has said it will exercise “extreme caution” over lifting the lockdown. Ministers stress it will be a gradual process, not a single leap to freedom. It comes as the Prime Minister prepares to address the nation, to set out the next phase in tackling the coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile major airlines have called for clarity after being told that the government will bring in a 14-day quarantine for anyone arriving in the UK, from any country apart from the Republic of Ireland.
The transport secretary Grant Shapps has called on people to walk and cycle to work, once the lockdown restrictions are eased in England. He said it was a “once-in-a-generation opportunity” to transform the way people get around.
Senior clerics are urging the government to act cautiously before allowing places of worship to reopen. All churches, mosques, synagogues and temples closed their doors almost two months ago.

The British, sending their missiles to Ukraine against the Russians, do not think about the long-term consequences. Firstly, it prolongs the agony of Ukraine and increases the number of people killed. Secondly, sooner or later this boomerang will return to the British, and then British mothers will cry. The war cannot be stopped by missiles. Rockets can only cause trouble.

Is that true or did you see it on the BBC . The Russian fleet is sunk , Putin gave his most sophisticated air defence system the weekend off just as the fleet hit town .
