If leap years were omitted we could have Christmas during Northern Hemisphere astronomical autumn after 20 years or so

Latest Solstice Date is December 23 so we would need to drop another leap year or two for it to work

..we must shift to more accurate StarDate..this totally eradicate the need for leap year and its offset adjustments…this Metric Stardates only needs to be adjusted to the daily shift of earth rotational drift in millis & micro…

What an absolute joke to my intelligence, 30times12 =360 the sun or suns move across the earth every 24h , this devil will tell you it takes 365days for the sun to circle the earth " we been brainwashed by govern/mental power since a child … govern=rule mental=mind

when they say "we" they mean the Africans.
What they did was messed up the math in the Calendar.

The Egyptians had calculated that the solar year was actually closer to 3651/4 day. After 1,460 solar years, or four periods of 365 years, 1,461 Egyptian years had passed.
The reason why Western societies use 4 years is because their society don't last for 1460 years.
to have a proper leap year.. you need to have dynasties. dynasties requires LONG peace and stability.

THE 4 year is wrong, the months are wrong as well. Julia Caesar wants a month , a month was put in. Queen Victoria wants a lake, a lake was renamed
Ethiopia has the correct Christian calendar. The new year starts at the longest day of the year.

there must be something wrong at 2:02, the timeline should be 1600, 1700, 1800, 1900, 2000, then 2100 and 2200, but the video shows 2010 and 2020 followed by the 2000.

As a lad (60's/70's) Mother taught me this rhyme ______" 30 days have Sept, April, June & Nov, all the rest have 31 except February alone, which has 28 days clear & 29 each leap year "

Technically, Pope Gregory XIII did not actually create the century exceptions. All he did was assign two astronomers, Christopher Clavius and Lilius a job to find a way to reform the calendar. Once they found out what to do, they asked the pope if it was good and he ordered it to be in effect. So yes, it’s named after the pope, but he didn’t actually make the rules, so to speak.

Missiles hit Kyiv after Russia agrees to US call to resume Ukraine peace talks | BBC News

Published

on

Ukraine’s capital has come under a new missile attack, hours after Russia said it was “ready in principle” to resume peace talks and the US president said the world was “the closest we’ve been” to ending the war.

Several houses were hit on Wednesday night, injuring six people, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said.

The attack came amid a new diplomatic push led by Donald Trump’s envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Witkoff met Russia’s President Vladimir Putin in the city of St Petersburg on Wednesday – a day after meeting Ukraine’s leader.

Three-way talks were paused in February, after which Russia stepped up attacks as Ukraine ran out of Western-supplied interceptors to defend against missiles.

President Trump ordered to answer questions under oath in BBC lawsuit | BBC News

Published

on

A US judge has ordered President Donald Trump to answer questions under oath in his defamation lawsuit against the BBC by 11 December.

Trump is suing the BBC over an episode of Panorama that edited together two different sections of a speech he gave before the riot at the US Capitol in 2021.

Charles Tobin, a lawyer representing the BBC, said in court that “we still haven’t been able to depose the plaintiff” with two months left in the discovery period, during which both sides are legally required to exchange information with each other on their case.

Trump cancelled a previous deposition on 16 October, citing “matters of national importance” while he was campaigning in Georgia.

The judge in the case, US Magistrate Judge Enjoliqué Lett, said that Trump must sit for the deposition by 11 December, unless the discovery period is extended.

Deadly Paris shooting investigated as “crime of terrorism” | BBC News

Published

One person has been killed and five others wounded – three seriously – in a shooting in a Parisian suburb which authorities are investigating as “terrorism”.

A 12-year-old girl is among the wounded after several drive-by shootings took place on Friday – first in Trappes to the south-west of Paris, and then in nearby La Verrière.

The suspected attacker has been arrested but the motive remains unclear.

Meanwhile, the French government is deploying 70,000 security forces ahead of protests on Saturday which comes after recent large-scale protests over education and the cost of living were overshadowed by riots.

Donald Trump blames Iran for high oil prices | BBC News

Published

on

US President Donald Trump has said that something will happen “fairly soon” in his country’s conflict with Iran. It comes amid reports that the US and Israeli militaries have developed plans for a major new wave of strikes.

Meanwhile, oil prices have risen to their highest for five months. Trump puts the blame on Iran, saying the country is doing all it can to drive prices up before the US midterm elections.

Reports from Saudi Arabia say that the state oil company Aramco has evacuated its headquarters in the eastern city of Dhahran, as Houthi attacks on the country continue.

And inside Yemen, the United Nations says more than two million children are malnourished.
