How about hiring based on competency and not on the skin colour. I don't care if the person is white, black or blue, as long as they do their job properly. Especially when we are talking about saving lives.

  7. @craig_69

    January 24, 2024 at 9:34 pm

Well, that's a racist policy if I ever I heard one.

How bloody ridiculous this country is becoming

  11. @davidgifford8112

    January 24, 2024 at 9:34 pm

The big question is how would you feel being treated by a “diversity hire” that is someone employed specifically for their ethnicity rather than their medical competency. What’s perhaps worse is that you may be being treated by a perfectly competent POC but worried they were an incompetent diversity hire!

  12. @stevewiles7132

    January 24, 2024 at 9:34 pm

OH FFS, how long till they start asking " why are there still white people in England".

  13. @melodyschleicher81

    January 24, 2024 at 9:34 pm

And there I was thinking that the NHS was so short-staffed that they would just be grateful for anybody who was still willing to take on the jobs and fill the vacancies.

  14. @sueshrubsole3712

    January 24, 2024 at 9:34 pm

It sounds to me like we should all abandon the NHS and their management and set up another parallel free thinking organisation!!

    January 24, 2024 at 9:34 pm

Basically we're trash in their eyes it will not end unless we fight back

  18. @KCalamity24

    January 24, 2024 at 9:34 pm

So white people are not meant to enjoy mixing with people that looks like them or hiring people that look like them and share a culture but other races will do exactly that routinely. I refuse to play along with this rubbish enough is enough.

  19. @rolandfry5688

    January 24, 2024 at 9:34 pm

Then they should ask what criteria did they use to hire people of colour. Positive Discrimination is Discrimination

  20. @szilardretkes2703

    January 24, 2024 at 9:34 pm

Racism exist because of the leftists. They keep it up and relevant to profit from it.

  22. @markthompson6540

    January 24, 2024 at 9:34 pm

    All people are equal.
Therefore ethnic minorities are obviously as well educated and skilled as their white counterparts.
So why are the minorities failing?
My guess is because too many are NOT as well educated.
( BEST PERSON FOR JOB COLOUR NOT AN ISSUE )

  23. @theautumnalcyclist7629

    January 24, 2024 at 9:34 pm

This does go to show that there is systemic racism in the UK!

  26. @SparkyJohn111

    January 24, 2024 at 9:34 pm

Surely the "best person" for the job is better for everyone than just being the "right colour" , no matter what job is being applied for.
    This world has gone mad.

  27. @tellitlikeitis-rg4ny

    January 24, 2024 at 9:34 pm

Racism in your face plain as day , this has to stop

  28. @meredithisme3752

Britain has always been this way. Shite country. Peep what they did to citizens in the 17th century- poor, women, children mostly

  31. @stephencrossland2493

    January 24, 2024 at 9:34 pm

Any one trying to get a job, and you are white male, you would have to black up or turn up in a wig and dress which as any man can now identify as a woman is surely okay. Only problem with the latter is you will have to turn up to work every day like that ! The NHS is so broken they will have people carrying out triple bypasses whos only qualification is they are not white male !

  32. @doubleplusgoodthinker9434

    January 24, 2024 at 9:34 pm

I was on an interview panel for a community psychiatrist. There were four candidates, three white and one black. It was clear that the black candidate was there to tick a box. He was a joke, he knew nothing. I was appalled that he was already working as a psychiatrist in the mental ward of the local hospital. I said as much to the other panel members. They all agreed, including the Indian chairman.

There is no need to write a separate report on a black candidate. The interview notes and the responses from the interviewees are there for the directors to see. This latest wheeze is just meant to pressurise panels to appoint "people of colour" even where they are entirely unsuitable,

There should be lawsuits up the arse at this point. Pathetic you allow this

Starmer DIGS at Kemi Badenoch: “she can’t complain now” as borrowing prices RISE due to conflict

Published

Keir Starmer takes a dig at Kemi Badenoch’s stance on the conflict in Iran, stating that “she can’t complain now” given the rise in borrowing costs.

Starmer has his position clear as he avoids “jumping in with two feet”, as that is what the opposition would have done.

Keir Starmer CONFRONTED over ‘HYPOCRISY’ and Reform THREATEN Labour MPs as Britain RIDICULED abroad

Published

on

By

Sir Keir Starmer has been confronted his perceived ‘hypocrisy’ after he accused the Tories and Reform UK of a ‘political stunt’ in forcing a vote in Parliament on whether the Prime Minister should be investigated his handling of the Peter Mandelson scandal.

Starmer himself had pushed for Boris Johnson to be investigated by the same committee, leading to the Tory PM’s downfall.

News outlets around the world have been ridiculing Britain, comparing Keir Starmer’s popularity to their lowest-ranked leaders. Starmer is more unpopular than the least popular US president in history, George W Bush.

Ahead of Tuesday’s Commons vote, Reform UK’s Zia Yusuf warned Labour MPs their constituencies would be swamped with canvassers alerting voters to those who refused to back an investigation into the ‘most unpopular PM in history’.
