I stopped giving when they told me what brand they wanted. Worked all my life and use own brands because cheaper but not good enough for those who I am told have nothing.

I think it's an absolute disgrace that people are so desperate that they have to resort to food banks.
This is a real light on the disgraceful policies that have led to zero hours contracts & low pay.
These factors only benefit the employer's.
Hearing conservative politician's exclaiming that food banks are good ,while they award themselves pay rises & cut benefits ,
    This needs to be overthrown.
We are supposedly one of the world's richest economies and a very large percent of the population are living in poverty.

'Not For Profit' because the CEO receives most of the money in salary. I should imagine the mugs who made donations to the food banks, like the guy in the flat below mine, found out that the recipients were grifters, like the guy in the flat above mine,
These people are NOT 'hungry', like in Ethiopia, but merely peckish.

The world will soon be starving because of ridiculous use of farm land for trees, turbines and bloo… solar panels

GB News isn't going to last that long if this is the approach and standard of reporting. Just like BBC News, SKY News and ITN they automatically go to northern England when there's a socioeconomic issue. Make sure you get the Coronation Street/Shameless esthetic on camera. What a bunch morons!

    People are feeling the pinch.
Unfortunately a lot of charities are going to be effected plus many people are charity weary. Every day we are bombarded with pleas for money to help someone, something.
I will help with food banks when I can. Poverty is on our doorstep and its horrible.

I used to work in a church building where there was a weekly food bank run by church volunteers. About 70% of those queuing up to get their food parcels would be chain smoking in the line. Many would also be drinking tins of beer. There are genuine people that rely on food banks, but I'm sorry to say that a significant proportion of the people I saw could clearly afford to buy food, but would rather rely on charity to feed themselves and their kids while they wasted their money on cigs, booze and drugs.

I'm sure that the current recession has had an impact on donations but speaking for myself, finding out the the CEO's of foodbanks are earning over 80K a year stopped me giving.

I see these obese people waddling down the high street covered in tattoos. I'm an old age pensioner and food comes first and by buying sensibly is very cheap.

To Empathise with the Nation that BJ "governs", is it too much to expect him to walk to parliament via his underground tunnel?? It evidently is. 3 ton V8 Range Rovers and shit loads of police are his preferred way of transporting his morbidly obese body. NARCISSISTIC PISS TAKING

Obvious people will not be able to use spare cash because they will have none. Also Charities are going to feel the same effect. So predictable but our govmt will be oblivious about any of this. Management by avoidance is their speciality.
