    What threat from Russia ?
You ppl are completely mad ..
It is the west that Refuses to trade with Russia cutting their noses off to spite their faces.. not putting people, their own people above
    “” politicking””
It is Germany and the west that refuses to engage and turn on the gas pipe line, which is fully functioning whilst they pay 5x more to USA than they would Russia..

It is the west that has engaged in economic war with Russia..
Like what gives them the right to do so?
But unfortunately has back fired. Hurt their own economies, whilst Russia continues to trade with the rest of the world..
If Poland’s trade with Russia is increasing even under sanctions, then that shows the willingness of nations even under the choke hold of USA . No one is interested in war or the big cowboys any more..

So to open the old well that got closed down , pretty desperate ..

Just looking to Rob more out of Britain..
and use and abuse any crisis..

Our country’s lack is sod all to do with Russia
But incompetent, back handed, shoving in own pockets. Deceitful leadership..
Convid warriors .. wanting to scare the pants off people .. then rather than face the consequences, get all whiny and how unfair it all is … that they got caught..
    Quick shift focus ..
Meanwhile our sovereignty being handed over to the WHO and not a peep .

As there is NO climate emergency, there's absolutely no reason to shut down an oilfield that could do the British economy a world of good. The lefties hate this.

Most of the Environmentalists and the Just Stop Oil crowd, seem to think that oil = Petrol, Diesel, Kerosene and lubricants.. They don’t seem to understand that most of what we wear, use and live in, are also essential oil derivatives.. even wind turbines, and solar panels cannot be made without oil. Plastics, resins, solvents and literally hundreds of other every day products, cannot be made without oil. Green energy is great.. but you can’t make anything out of electricity.

  18. @charliedrake247

Great news ,but when North Sea Oil was first found the government said it would make Britain rich and increase the standard of living all over the country like in the middle east. They wasted the lot and now look at this country!!! They will spend it on immigrants and one useless project after another. I won't hold my breath 😂

Andy Burnham compared to “Sheriff of Nottingham” over new “mansion tax”

Published

Andy Burnham has been branded the “Sheriff of Nottingham” by a Tory MP as HMRC valuation agents are set to descend on British homes to determine eligibility to pay the steep new “mansion tax”.

Speaking to GB News, Shadow Cabinet Office Minister Mike Wood compared the Prime Minister to the villainous rival of Robin Hood as he hit out at plans to hike levies on higher-value homes.

Inspectors could be sent to determine whether homeowners will be liable for a new surcharge on higher-value homes, and those who refuse agents entry could face criminal prosecution and a fine of up to £200.

Additionally, homeowners who do not supply requested information without a “reasonable excuse” could attract a fine of up to £500.
