Don’t they have like 20+ states around us too go too!? Why solely focus on our little strip of land?

Till  now   what  is  done is   of  no  value   for  Palestinians.Palestinians must get an independent country like  that of Israelis. When the core issue  is  suppressed and  ordinary   issues are  talked of,no  problems  get   solved.Problems  do not get solved automatically-  these are to be solved  by  human effort.

Imagine if you will a warm summer night and the family's of Rawabi  have decided  to attend the Roman amphitheater to watch an Opera on the life of Yasser Arafat, of blessed memory. The children become bored and decide to attack IDF soldiers down the hill. Soldiers are hung-over from big Rave party in Tel Aviv and have no wish to chase up hill so they call out the Skunk Truck. Again imagine a 2000 gallon tank filled with dead bodies, sewage, yeast,  and sugar left in the sun for many days to ferment and rot. shake it all up and shoot it from a military grade fire hose with a 300 yard range at 10 gallons per second. The end to a perfect summer eve…

This is either very poor reporting by the BBC or borderline propaganda. A very key element was left out of the report. Technically and legally the West Bank is not a country; they do not have legal water rights. What was left out of the report is that Jordan has the water rights and has denied them to the developer. That is the reason he has turned to Israel for water. As noted, the Jewish settlement is without water also.

This is not the first time the BBC has not checked its facts. Certainly any reporter of even mild competence would have questioned why a developer would proceed without a guarantee of  water and an electric right of way. Surprisingly, the question was not even raised.

Though the BBC claims it is "news you can trust" it appears you can only trust it to be half correct.

So…you want to create a failed suburban American style community with little water in a rocky war torn waste. with wall street type Ponzi financing…my humble prediction for this apocalyptic mistake… abandonment during long legal procedures. large group of settler hilltop youth take over and fortify the ruins collecting rain water from the roof and shitting down on the heads of police trying to remove them… and if a Palestinian actually does get to live here they will be trapped and denied any type of free movement. it will take 4 days just to go shopping 6 miles away through the security check points…and when their children throw rocks at the IDF surrounding them… the Skunk Truck will come…Gut Shabbos..

Trump demands 20% toll on cargos passing through strait of Hormuz | BBC News

Published

on

President Donald Trump has said the US is reinstating a naval blockade of Iranian ports and will impose a 20% charge on all cargo shipped through the Strait of Hormuz following days of escalating strikes between the two countries.

He said this would stop “Iran’s ships or customers” from entering or leaving the key oil shipping route, but “all other countries will have fair and open use of the Strait”.

Iran’s foreign minister later said whoever provides safe passage “should be compensated for this service”, but Iran would remain the strait’s “GUARDIAN” – using Trump’s word.

Tehran and Washington clashed over the strait’s control after exchanging strikes in the region overnight and on Monday.

The US said it carried out strikes against military targets in Iran, targeting air defence systems, coastal radars, and missile and drone sites. Iran said it responded by striking US military bases in Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain, and radars in Oman.

New explosions near Iranian port cities, says state media | BBC News

Published

on

Explosions have been heard near two Iranian port cities, Bandar Abbas and Bushehr, state media has reported.

It comes after another night of strikes between the US and Iran, with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps saying it hit two UAE tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and targeted US facilities in Jordan and Bahrain.

The UAE called the attack “brazen”, adding that an Indian crew member was killed and eight others were injured.

Meanwhile, the US military says it completed strikes on targets aimed at degrading “Iran’s ability to attack commercial shipping” – Iranian state media reports three people were killed.

US launches more strikes on Iran and resumes naval blockade of ports | BBC News

Published

on

The US military said it was carrying out a new wave of strikes on targets in Iran. It said the aim of the attacks was to degrade Iran’s ability to attack shipping in the strait of Hormuz. It came ass the US Navy resumed its blockade of Iran’s ports.

Iran said that control of the strait of Hormuz was required for its national security and it will exercise sovereignty over the key shipping lane, whatever the cost.

President Trump announced that he was scrapping a plan he had announced a day earlier, for placing a 20% toll or tariff on all cargos passing through the strait of Hormuz.
