Why does Lego keep washing up on a British beach? – BBC News
The number of people missing in Nepal after the massive flash flood on Wednesday has risen to 4,247- with at least 903 people known to have died.
The number of missing is a sharp rise from 2,502, which was announced on Sunday. Of those missing, 3,655 are Nepali citizens, with 592 foreigners unaccounted for.
In Tibet, the official death toll is 16, with 546 reported missing, according to Chinese state media.

President Volodymr Zelensky has appealed to Germany to supply Ukraine with tanks, as leaders meet to discuss further aid.
Defence leaders from a number of Nato members are meeting at the US air base in Ramstein, Germany to discuss sending further aid ahead of an anticipated Spring offensive by Russia.
Germany is under increasing pressure from other countries to supply its Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, as the UK prepares to send a dozen Challenger 2 tanks.
“If you have Leopard [tanks], then give them to us, these leopards won’t go through Russia. We’re defending ourselves.”, he told public TV in Germany.

The US and Iran have exchanged the largest number of strikes in weeks – after Iran retaliated to American attacks by launching strikes against US assets across the Middle East.
Iran says one US strike hit a wedding celebration in the south of the county, killing four people including one child.
The US has denied targeting civilians but US Central Command says they’re ‘looking into’ the strike.

Take a plastic bag with you to pick up plastic. Then throw the plastic parts and plastic bag into a plastic garbage can into another plastic bag. Then the plastic will be placed in a landfill instead of the beach. 🤣

The ship ownwers should pay to clean the beach as long as the legos are found on the shore. Ships are polluting the oceans and that has an effect on the ecosystem.
