    Everything he has done so far has been disastrous for the West and I very much doubt this will end any differently, my guess is that he will either force Putin to go ballistic or crash his own economy. He seems to think he is playing a game of Monopoly and that a the end of the day if he loses, nobody really gets hurt such is his detachment from reality.
