What planet are these Labour politicians on, if she can’t live on an £86k salary (not including any expenses etc), then she is living beyond her means. Maybe she should try living on my civil servant wage, which is just above the minimum wage. 😡

Cost of lockdown. We took a very expensive holiday and are now paying off the Nation's credit card.Whether it was the right thing to do or not is another matter.

Perhaps she could sell one of her two homes.
The one in Leeds or the one in London.
Her take home pay would be £4,700 a month, plus typical MP's expenses of about £800.
Her civil servant husband will also earn close to £4,000 a month so unable to manage of £9,500 a month. Four times average household take home pay.

Because Liebour are a party for the 'working people' aka the middle classes. It's always them moaning over and over and over again. You tell them net zero obsession and the building of wind and solar energy, an unreliable energy source makes food prices. And manufacturing go up. Because energy is more expensive. Yet had we build nuclear power stations en masse and fracked, we would be enjoying cheap energy. Remember cheap energy means a booming or growing economy. Simple facts. I've had enough of net zero. UK isn't the problem, nothing we do can change the damn climate. Stop acting like it will. Notice how its never a nuclear energy expert on TV promoting nuclear energy. It's always a bloody weatherman who's job anyone can do with some common sense and computer modeling to fir your narrative.

😮Immigration is why there's a lack of social housing for working class areas, cheap homes to buy or rent.

They should try living in bloody reality these morons.

An alternate reality, and the GBNews viewers' favourite Farage is in power.
There'e a threat of civil war in the land, but Nigel isnt around to manage a response, as he's been paid £500k to lick donkey's testicles live on camera. Proper statesman.

86k is the squeezed middle in Landon? its like the top 5% of earners…. and the average uk citizen ain't earning 40k…

  25. @neilfound3506

    January 13, 2024 at 1:15 pm

Not sure someone who can’t manage her own finances on £86k is the right person to be in charge of the nations purse

  26. @stequality

    January 13, 2024 at 1:15 pm

And the public support these types of people, question is why ?

  27. @JustaGuy_Gaming

    January 13, 2024 at 1:15 pm

86k grand is not a lot of money, but most Govt officials don't do a lot of work either. They delegate all task to other people, they don't even read the laws they vote on and so on. Honestly they should get paid less. Much like staff that gets tips can get paid below minimum wage Govt officials should be paid nothing, they can survive off all the bribes they get.

  28. @oldshiny3012

    January 13, 2024 at 1:15 pm

86K is a world apart from the average uk wage let alone the minimum wage, if she can't balance her own books and keep her own costs down god help us if she gets control of the countries finances

  29. @roygreenwood79

    January 13, 2024 at 1:15 pm

Tripple my salary, I’m not short, work full time, am a father sharing equal parenting responsibilities and on top of that contribute financially to my child’s care by her mother (for which I’m not obliged to). This MP has no place in making comments like this in public complaining about her salary and this guest supporting her comments also doesn’t seem to have a clue. She like most other politicians are so out of touch with the public and do not deserve a seat in office representing anyone in the UK god forbid the country as chancellor, Jesus Christ!

  32. @nightowl7459

    January 13, 2024 at 1:15 pm

Typical lying Liebour politician, just like shifty Sunak, Reeves is insulting the people's intelligence, its all well blaming the poor quality of politicians because of their salaries, give them more money and you will still get the same poor quality career politicians, the candidate box ticking system is to blame for the quality of our politicians, not their salaries.

86K + her expenses, + her food and travel, + her commissions, + her honorariums etc. No way in touch with the Public, Labour are almost as bad at telling the truth as the current Government.
