    Good this modern technology, innit?

This has happened so many times now, is there really anyone left out there that can't see that this is sabotage. There are several very rich and powerful people out there, with plenty of tech savvy people working for them, who don't want ordinary people to use aeroplanes. They did this. They did it last time. They'll do it again next time. Our totalitarian hell waits us.

It's almost as if they don't want the plebs to travel. Can't think why. Surely nothing to do with the loony left, or WEF?

Most likely done on purpose we can't have people going away enjoying themselves.

Any explanation of why the e-gate system failed? That's what I would like to know.

They don’t want people to travel. It’s all planned ahead. ruined peoples holidays and that’s why they want school children’s holidays at the same time convenient I’d say.

  8. @ianplowman8689

This is a deliberate act, because they want the plebs to stop flying and travelling. They want us to stay in the UK, so it leaves the places abroad free for the wealthy, and get back to the way it was in the 1950s. The powers at be, the globalist, want to control you all.

Cyber warfare? Sounds most likely as every airport went down at the same time. Airports have been warned in the past about such attacks, but who knows.

E-Gates, most dumbest ever thing to add to an airport in history. Once again another thing people should not have invented in the notion and the belief that it speeds up the process. When all you had to do in the old days was show your ticket to a designated airline gate staff. Never can understand why, we keep on making these silly technologies that makes things more difficult for ourselves.

The Post Office and airports need to take advice from Google and Amazon; even during lockdown they were able to handle infinite bytes of data!

  24. @terracewalker8919

    January 11, 2024 at 9:02 am

Yes indeed the misery of travelling for a holiday by rail. Almost as bad as the misery of working for Profit Railways where most of the profits disappear into the the infinite vaults of CEOs and share holders while the staff try and keep your trains running with duct tape and super glue. The only hope is a Labour government would get rid of the vampires and Nationalise what is an essential public service.

  25. @UKsoldier45

Who here travels to an airport with plenty of time to spare, perhaps 3-4 hours before their flight. Travelling with enough food and pastimes for any delay problem?

Virtually every single government I.T. project screws up badly at some point, and there's a simple and common reason for this. YOU PAY PEANUTS, YOU GET MONKEYS. As someone who earned a handsome remuneration, working in the City through my own I.T. development company for about 20 years, I can tell you that there is an order of magnitude difference between the best I.T. developers and average ones. But government, or those it subcontracts, ALWAYS favour cheapness over quality. Ironically this always costs a lot more in the end.

What’s the point of us standing in line like good children with our passports when those on dinghies can just wash up with the help of the state funded RNLI with no passports, we all have to book are hotels and pay but they get them for free 😡

WHY the sheep persist in ALWAYS wanting to get away just for 3 bloody days every time there's bank- holidays beggars belief, KNOWING that there's gonna' be grid-lock on the roads and any passport-controls!! Jeez, we get good weather nowadays and beautiful scenery in the UK ……. just stay here, f.f.k's sakes.

Calder is a remoaner so will blame eveything he possibly can on Brexit. Portugal allow UK nationals to use E- passports, France, Gerrmany don't. Nothing to do with Brexit per se, just another example of why we were right to leave the EU. These people are not our friends. Also, the E-Gate system is apparently run by the Home Office, so another governmental screw up…..

  43. @YUDNSAY

All part of the plan to piss travellers off so they won't bother, if this doesn't work expect the digital currency to say 'no' when you want to book, the fastest human brain works at KiloBytes perSecond, computer servers terabytes per second or more…

Watch as Will Kensington expresses concern about the state of the UK, arguing that Downing Street is no longer a place of power but has instead become Britain’s most expensive Airbnb.

This comes as Andy Burnham is set to become the UK’s seventh Prime Minister in a decade, with seemingly no one challenging the “King of the North” for the country’s top job.
