They should be grateful they aren’t forced to take a 1/3 of a pay cut or lose their jobs as has happened to a lot of people in health & social care😮

Look these doctors need a good pay rise the NHS needs protection !. listening to the interview £20 an hour is reasonable ! But stop the strike its not helping 😒 you need to keep the public on side ! The government is to blame for the state of this country, NHS, local government, teachers, ect ect all being done over by our current government, think about who you next vote for ! 5:41

Amazing how money by the billions is pumped into Ukraine no questions asked and foreign aid to people who don’t need it yet for ever they have denied doctors and nurses a descent pay rise also they can give themselves big pay rises for lying to the fucking public every day and doing nothing but taking money from every tax loophole they can robbing their expenses while everyone else can swivel on this 🖕.

Good luck to the junior doctors. Those turds in government are quick enough to give themselves pay rises but dont want to pay anyone else a decent wage!

I am very angry that the doctors think THEY are not part of the public sector and it is fact WE who work for them!!

Your guest is out of touch with reality- if these junior doctors believe that patient care is flexible as and when it can be afforded then they’re not the right people to be providing treatment- they want a 25% increase in wages based on monies they were denied before they started university- everyone could use the same argument based on the last 12 years – I work in medical staffing for the NHS (Doctors exclusively) and the quality and skills we are dealing with from current juniors is laughable- most medical school entrants are from well to do families that can afford the fees and what needs to happen is more training places for people who actually want to help people rather than these entitled money grabbers holding the UK population to ransom – the BMA is playing with real lives here for political capital

  14. @TEAMMAURICE

    January 11, 2024 at 8:01 am

Why can’t the UK government just pay its doctors a decent wage, like all other countries do?

  16. @SophiaMiddleton99

    January 11, 2024 at 8:01 am

They want the NHS to remain as it is, but the levels of pay that only a mixed system can provide. Ridiculous.

Hypocrisy and lies from doctors. They have huge career salaries and pensions. They serve an apprenticeship, but now want no out of hours, no probationary period. A bloody disgrace.

  23. @dominionphilosophy3698

    January 11, 2024 at 8:01 am

Doctors are to blame for this. No excuse, they have become killers. A disgrace.

  24. @PatrioticPain

    January 11, 2024 at 8:01 am

This is the problem with immigration. The reason why the NHS pay is low. Because they would rather pay lower wages to immigrants . Than train British doctors and give them more pay . The problem is immigration.

  25. @pat23668952

    January 11, 2024 at 8:01 am

If you pay doctors the going rate you can cut down on the use of contractor's. Then the pay rise pays for itself.

The NHS is that corrupt 😂 foreigners working for them are allowed to perform surgeries that are supposed to be illegal.

    January 11, 2024 at 8:01 am

Hi, i have had a look and the hourly pay is 14.91 pounds per hour.
If we are to catch up with time in parallel Universe than i think 44.16 pounds per hour would be good according to my calculations.
And then 20 pounds more for chief nursing officer. As long as they have genuine staff.

  28. @jan_darysh

    January 11, 2024 at 8:01 am

The problem is that I haven't been able to explain it well. For example, the problem is that treatments that cost $10 are priced at $40 depending on the person.

  29. @JonathonBastow

    January 11, 2024 at 8:01 am

No winners in strike action no sh** if you had any compassion for people you wouldn't pick the busiest time of the year and for such lengths of time. Disgusting absolute vile..!!! Playing with people's lives every Jr Doctor knew the pay before they started. I am about to lose my home because I can't work because I am so poorly and can't get in to be dealt with. The government are as disgusting but we already knew that shame on everybody involved here.. Unions are the disgrace of this country it makes me laugh how they are saying they are doing this for the patients and the NHS. Everybody goes mad at just stop oil for ootentially blocking an ambulance.. its ok an ambulance getting to the hospital now just nobody there when they get there

Watch as Will Kensington expresses concern about the state of the UK, arguing that Downing Street is no longer a place of power but has instead become Britain’s most expensive Airbnb.

This comes as Andy Burnham is set to become the UK’s seventh Prime Minister in a decade, with seemingly no one challenging the “King of the North” for the country’s top job.
