It seems pretty much a certainty that Andy Burnham will be the next British prime minister. Exactly when it happens depends on a few factors. We outline some of the reasons an early general election is likely.

Think of it as Popular-ist instead of Populist (@4:42). May was not at all popular and so could not be a Populist. Nigal Farage very popular. Nigal would be a Populist.

her speech is also nationalistic, the WE excludes the UK in the EU, a similar argument could be made for any part of the UK, for example WE (in England) are fed up of being told what to do and have our money stolen by the DUP, sometimes it is what is being implied that is the important message, and by using WE May is trying to make the EU THEM, which only works for nationalists.

This failed when democracy set the bar too low. In 2016 52% was enough to leave. 52% of ten people in a room isn't a majority it's half the room saying Yes but one of us has 6 fingers so we win. This has been a disaster since.

The meaning of populism is not contested! Only the application of the term to a particular political statement can be contested!
TLDR: You said "populist boils down to: Politions pit the people against a corrupt elite" ???
What complete nonsense! Here is the definition from Wiktionary:
"populist (usually in a negative sense, one who opportunistically takes advantage of current popular opinions or emotions)."
It means saying things in order to be popular, and not saying things which you believe in or which are right or even practicable.
Like advocating Brexit for example.
(sorry, couldn't resist that!)

sorry, we can't have two fights. one with MP's the other with euro. The answer is to stop MP's for any parties until we sort out Brexit. because we are very confused on how to carry this out. if we don't Brussel's would have one and we we have egg on our face. we should have had a provisional vote, before the real vote, when the prime minister come back from visiting Brussels. Firstly, the structure of the country, needs to be sorted out before talking to Brussel's.
