รัฐบาล-เอกชนทั่วโลกเร่งปิดเว็บไซต์ หลังพบความพยายาม “แฮ็ก”นับล้านครั้งอาศัยรอยรั่วโค้ดโปรแกรมภาษาอินเตอร์เน็ต “PHP”

เกิดเหตุสะเทือนโลกอินเตอร์เน็ตไปทั่วโลก เมื่อเกิดความพยายาม “แฮ็ก” เว็บไซต์ บริษัทเอกชน และเว็บไซต์ของรัฐบาลทั่วโลก ทำให้ต้องปิดเว็บไซต์กันครั้งใหญทั่วโลก หลังจากเกิดรูรั่ว และช่องโหว่ที่สำคัญในภาษาโปรแกรม “PHP” ซึ่งเป็นรากฐานที่ใช้เขียนโค้ดอินเทอร์เน็ตเมื่อวานนี้ โดยทางด้านบริษัทคลาวด์ “คราวด์ไฟร์” ได้รายงานว่าเกิดการพยายาม”แฮ็ก” ขึ้นนับล้านๆครั้งหลังจากมีการพบช่องโหว่ดังกล่าว

การเร่งแก้ไขเกิดขึ้นหลังจากที่ รัฐบาลในยุโรปและอีกหลายที่ต้องรวมไปถึงบริษัทเอกชนต้อง ปิดเว็บไซต์เป็นการชั่วคราวเพื่อเป็นการป้องกันไว้ก่อนทันที โดยการปิดระบบฉุกเฉินนั้นได้เกิดขึ้นกับเว็บไซต์ ของธนาคาร สายการบิน บริษัทเดินรถไฟ บริษัทดูแลภาษี และบริการของรัฐบาล ตั้งแต่ญี่ปุ่น ไปถึงฟินแลนด์

ทั้งนี้ PHP คือกุญแจสำคัญของรากฐานภาษาที่เขียนโปรแกรมอินเทอร์เน็ตเช่นเดียวกับ HTML และ ไพธอน (Python) โดยนักพัฒนา PHP ได้ปล่อย “แพตช์” แก้ไขออกมาสำหรับช่องโหว่นี้แล้ว ซึ่งถูกค้นพบโดยใช้ AI และขอให้ผู้ใช้ “อัปเดตทันที”

ทางด้านบริษัทคลาวด์แฟร์ ระบุว่า ในขณะที่บริษัทและรัฐบาลต่างๆ ได้ติดตั้ง “แพทช์” และระงับเว็บไซต์เพื่อเป็นการป้องกันไว้ก่อน นั้น ได้พบว่ามีความพยายามในการ “แฮ็ก” พุ่งสูงขึ้นเป็นล้านครั้ง โดย นาย แมทธิว พรินซ์ ซีอีโอของคลาวด์แฟร์ ระบุในโพสต์บน X เมื่อคืนวันพุธว่า “ในช่วง 10 ชั่วโมงก่อนที่จะมีการประกาศอย่างเป็นทางการ เราพบความพยายามโจมตีช่องโหว่นี้หลายพันครั้งทั่วทั้งเครือข่าย โดยจำนวนนั้นเพิ่มขึ้นเป็นหลายหมื่นครั้งใน 45 นาทีหลังจากการประกาศ หลายแสนครั้งภายใน 2 ชั่วโมง และหลายล้านครั้งในขณะนี้”

ทั้งนี้ ผลกระทบดังกล่าวเกิดขึ้นเป็นวงกว้างตั้งจากญี่ปุ่นถึงฟินแลนด์ทีเดียว โดยบริษัทญี่ปุ่นหลายแห่ง รวมถึงบริษัทหลักทรัพย์ โนมูระ บริษัท มิตซูบิชิ ยูเอฟเจ ไฟแนนเชียลกรุ๊ป สายการบิน เอเอ็นเอ (ANA) และบริษัทการรถไฟญี่ปุ่นตะวันออก ระบุเมื่อวันพฤหัสบดีว่า พวกเขาได้ ระงับบริการอินเทอร์เน็ตบางส่วนชั่วคราว ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของมาตรการฉุกเฉิน เช่นเดียวกับบริษัทผลิตเบียร์ อาซาฮี ก็ได้ระงับเว็บไซต์และระบบบางส่วนชั่วคราว และกำลังดำเนินการประเมินผลกระทบด้านความปลอดภัย ส่วนบริษัทประกันภัย “โตเกียว มารีน กล่าวว่าได้ระงับเว็บไซต์ของกลุ่มบริษัทชั่วคราว

ขณะที่ กลุ่มบริษัทโทรคมนาคม “โรเรนจ์” (Orange) ของฝรั่งเศสกล่าวว่าได้ระงับการเข้าถึงเว็บไซต์และแอปพลิเคชันที่ใช้ PHP บางส่วนชั่วคราวในหลายบริษัทในเครือเพื่อเป็นการป้องกันไว้ก่อน ส่วนทางด้าน บริษัท “เทนเซนท์ คลาวด์” (Tencent Cloud) หนึ่งในผู้ให้บริการคลาวด์คอมพิวติ้งรายใหญ่ที่สุดของจีน กระตุ้นให้ลูกค้าติดตั้ง PHP เวอร์ชันที่อัปเดตแล้ว

ทางด้าน “วาลตอรี” ผู้ให้บริการด้านไอทีของรัฐฟินแลนด์กล่าวว่าได้ดำเนินการติดตั้งแพตช์ความปลอดภัย PHP อย่างต่อเนื่องตลอดทั้งคืน และกำลังทยอยยกเลิกการบล็อกบริการเพื่อป้องกันไว้ก่อน หลังจากปิดบริการเว็บสาธารณะของรัฐบาลไปเมื่อวันก่อน

ทางด้าน ฮันนู นาวมาเนน ผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ของ วาลตอรี กล่าวในแถลงการณ์ “การกู้คืนบริการอาจใช้เวลาหลายวันหรือหลายสัปดาห์ เนื่องจากนอกจากการอัปเดตแล้ว ระบบยังต้องได้รับการทดสอบอย่างละเอียด”

ขณะเดียวกัน รัฐบาลเอเชียหลายแห่งสั่งให้ตรวจสอบความปลอดภัยทางไซเบอร์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับช่องโหว่ PHP ในวันพฤหัสบดี อย่างเช่น กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรมของจีนกระตุ้นให้องค์กรและผู้ใช้ตรวจสอบระบบและอัปเกรดเป็น PHP เวอร์ชันที่ปลอดภัยล่าสุด นอกจากนี้ยังแนะนำให้เสริมสร้างการตรวจสอบความปลอดภัยทางไซเบอร์และเปลี่ยนบัญชี รหัสผ่าน และคีย์เมื่อจำเป็น

ส่วน เฟลิกซ์ คูห์เลนแคมป์ หัวหน้าฝ่ายความปลอดภัยของ “บิตคอม” (Bitkom) สมาคมอุตสาหกรรมดิจิทัลของเยอรมนี กล่าวว่า ผู้ให้บริการรายใหญ่หลายรายได้ดำเนินการอัปเดตไปแล้ว แต่สำหรับระบบไอทีที่ซับซ้อนนั้น การอัพเดตอาจต้องใช้เวลานานขึ้น
