Reform UK in “PERMANENT CAMPAIGN MODE” as snap election LOOMS

Published

By

Robert Jenrick says Reform UK are in “permanent campaign mode” after Tory leader Kemi Badenoch claimed a snap general election was imminent.

Andy Burnham has left the door open to holding a snap general election in 2027 just days after the Prime Minister insisted he would not call an early poll.

Insiders believe May 2027 could be a good time for Mr. Burnham to go to the polls amid warnings from pollsters about Labour losing its Commons majority.

Both Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage believe Burnham will call a snap poll.

However, a No10 spokesman said: “The Prime Minister has ruled out an early election.”

Speaking to GB News Breakfast, Robert Jenrick said: “I think there’s a very good chance that that’s going to happen. If you listen to Andy Burnham’s speech the other day, there was absolutely nothing about what he’s going to do now.”
