Your PS5 has a secret you’re meant to hoover, and most owners have never noticed it.

If you take the white side covers off a PlayStation 5, you’ll find two small holes in the black shell underneath. Sony showed them off in its official PS5 teardown video.

They’re dust catchers. The PS5 is designed so dust collects in those spots instead of building up around the fan and the rest of the console.

That means you can clean it without taking the console apart. Pop the covers off, use a hoover on the dust catchers, and put the covers back on.
