‘It’s not on the person but on the premises.’

‘Nothing appears to be happening to clamp down on this illegality.’

Andrew Rosindell and Sam Rushworth debate the need for further funding and stricter laws to tackle ‘dodgy shops’ on the high street to target criminal gangs.

Gran told to remove street garden she’s spent 25 years working on

A grandmother has been ordered to remove a street garden she has tended for more than 25 years in northwest London after her council said it was attracting anti-social behaviour.

Katharine Hoskyns, an 89-year-old retired teacher, transformed the space outside her home in St John’s Wood with pots of tomatoes, geraniums and herbs, as well as a bench where neighbours stop to talk.

But Westminster Council have issued her with a notice to remove the plants and benches after some residents reportedly complained.

Joined by her sister-in-law, Catherine, Katharine told GB News’ Will Godley about the joy the garden has brought the community.

She said: “I think community enjoy it. Everybody who comes up to me says they really appreciate it.”

In a statement, Westminster City Council said: “Residents should be able to live without anti-social behaviour impacting on their lives. Moving this bench will help reduce the recent disturbance in the area.

“We remain hopeful that we can resolve the situation amicably.”

Nigel Farage speaks exclusively to GB News following his swearing-in as the MP for Clacton, after what he describes as a “historic victory”. Farage reflects on his return to Parliament, the reaction he received in the Commons and the role of Richard Tice and the Reform UK team as he prepares to travel around the country once again. He also reveals plans for another nationwide tour as he sets out his priorities following his return to Westminster.

Farage also takes aim at the Conservative leadership, branding Kemi Badenoch a “copycat Kemi” following her shadow cabinet reshuffle. He reacts to Keir Starmer stepping down as the MP for Holborn and St Pancras, saying “he is going quietly” and describing the situation as “a bit hypocritical”. The Reform UK leader also discusses the growing political battles facing the government and opposition as Westminster continues to shift.

During the interview with Christopher Hope, Farage addresses the investigation surrounding the £5 million donation from Christopher Harborne, insisting that he is “constantly under investigation” and calling the situation serious. He also hits out at Andy Burnham over Britain’s debt crisis and responds to questions over whether the investigation could ultimately lead to another by-election in Clacton.

BREAKING: Prince Harry and six others face £9.5M High Court bill

Published

BREAKING: A High Court judge has ordered Prince Harry, Sir Elton John, Liz Hurley and four other prominent claimants to hand over an initial £9.54m to Associated Newspapers Limited following their defeat in a landmark privacy case.

The payment must be made by 28 August.

The group, which also includes David Furnish, Sir Simon Hughes, Sadie Frost and Baroness Doreen Lawrence, brought claims against the Daily Mail’s publisher alleging unlawful information-gathering — accusations ANL strenuously denied throughout proceedings.

Mr Justice Nicklin set the interim sum after ANL sought more than £9.9m, whilst the claimants’ legal team argued the figure should be approximately £7.9m.

The claims were thrown out on 7 July when Mr Justice Nicklin ruled that the high-profile group had not substantiated their allegations against the publisher.
