Sir Keir Starmer facing an ‘INEVITABLE CRISIS’
Sir Keir Starmer is facing ‘an inevitable crisis’ according to a Labour grandee.
Graham Stringer, a Labour MP for nearly 30 years, declined to guarantee that the Prime Minister will lead his party into the general election, which must be held before summer 2029.
Speaking to Chopper’s Political Podcast, he said: “Will he be the candidate in the next general election? I think it depends how he deals on what seems like an inevitable crisis.
“If he can’t deal with that, if he can’t convince the Labour Party nationally and in Parliament that he can at least give us a chance in the next general election, then he may well not fight that election.”

Nigel Farage has won the Clacton by-election, the vote he has long described as a “people vs Establishment” contest.
Shortly after 6am, Mr Farage was confirmed to have returned to the House of Commons.
He secured 22,239 votes while his closest rival, a satirical candidate named Count Binface, received 9,455.
The other main Westminster parties boycotted the by-election entirely, though Mr Farage could face them in a potential second vote at a later date.
Mr Farage resigned as an MP to trigger the contest at the start of July amid a probe by the parliamentary standards commissioner over a £5million gift he received before becoming an MP.
