Peluncuran bahan bakar biodiesel B50 diwarnai momen yang mengundang senyum. Di hadapan Presiden Prabowo Subianto, Menteri ESDM Bahlil Lahadalia melontarkan candaan dengan mengenang masa lalunya sebagai sopir angkot. “Untung waktu saya jadi sopir angkot belum ada B50 ini,” ucap Bahlil yang langsung disambut gelak tawa para tamu yang hadir.

Meski disampaikan dengan nada bercanda, pernyataan tersebut menjadi selingan menarik di tengah peluncuran program strategis pemerintah dalam memperkuat ketahanan energi nasional melalui pemanfaatan bahan bakar berbasis biodiesel. Suasana acara pun terasa lebih cair tanpa mengurangi makna penting dari agenda tersebut.

Peluncuran B50 menjadi salah satu langkah pemerintah dalam mendorong penggunaan energi terbarukan, mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap bahan bakar fosil, sekaligus meningkatkan nilai tambah komoditas kelapa sawit nasional. Candaan Bahlil pun menjadi momen yang mencuri perhatian sekaligus menunjukkan sisi humanis dalam acara resmi tersebut.
