Iran latest: UK troops in danger? Labour MP weighs in on rising tensions and issues Trump warning
In this episode, Labour MP Tan Dhesi discusses the escalating tensions involving Iran, the US and Israel, and what the crisis could mean for Britain’s role in the region. He raises concerns about mission creep, the risks to UK personnel and bases, and whether the government has a clear strategy if the conflict deepens. Dhesi also cautions against being drawn into a wider war without a defined endgame, warning that any involvement must prioritise the safety of British troops and comply with international law. He questions whether regime change is a realistic objective and responds to comments from Donald Trump about the UK’s stance.
The episode also features Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp, who sets out the Conservative response to Labour’s economic and integration policies. Philp discusses welfare spending, migration levels and proposals for a new cultural integration commission announced by Kemi Badenoch. He outlines the party’s approach to national identity, social cohesion and immigration controls, while criticising Prime Minister Keir Starmer over economic management.

Crowborough in “David and Goliath BATTLE” with Labour government
A Crowborough resident has told GB News how the area feel they are in a David vs. Goliath battle with the Government as migrants move in to nearby former military barracks.
Speaking to Patrick Christys, Marmaduke Devereaux-Astley said the locals have been “thrown to the wolves” and that “no one’s coming to save us.”
He said: “We are having to fight back in a David and Goliath battle against this government, because the they’ve treated us appallingly… We feel that the Home Office’s intent is nefarious and their tactics are duplicitous and downright dishonest.”

BREAKING: Rachel Reeves and David Lammy OUT of Andy Burnham’s Government as shake-up begins
Rachel Reeves has announced she is stepping down as Chancellor, describing it as “the privilege of my life” to serve in the role.
In her resignation letter, she said the Labour government had restored stability, delivered investment and begun economic reform, adding that she was proud of the impact on working people and hoped her time in office would inspire future generations. Reeves also pledged her full support to Prime Minister Andy Burnham and his successor, who is widely expected to be Shabana Mahmood.
David Lammy has also confirmed he is leaving the government as part of Andy Burnham’s reshuffle. In a statement, Lammy said he would have been proud to continue serving but accepted the Prime Minister’s right to build his own team. Reflecting on his time in government, he highlighted work on foreign policy, justice reform, investment in the courts and prisons, and support for Ukraine, before confirming he will continue as Labour MP for Tottenham from the backbenches.
