RISKY WINTER STEALTH CAMP: I spent a freezing Friday night in the VW T4 Meat Wagon right in the middle of a busy Lincoln City Centre. Urban stealth camping at its most atmospheric—did I get caught?
It’s a freezing, moist Friday night in Lincoln, but we’re staying toasty in the Meat Wagon with the diesel heater pinned while the city buzzes outside. This is winter stealth camping at its most atmospheric.There are parking restrictions, constant foot traffic, and the cathedral bells… so we’ve got to stay stealthy tonight.
No drama, no manufactured risk — just realistic UK van life, quiet urban camping, and an early morning escape before the city fully wakes up.
