🥊 RAGING RIVALS! Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Diego Corrales | Full Fight | WBC Super-Featherweight Title
Floyd Mayweather Jr. 24–0 (18 KO) vs. Diego Corrales 33–0 (27 KO), billed as Raging Rivals, was a professional boxing match contested on January 20, 2001, for the WBC super featherweight title.
A fight between WBC super featherweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. and IBF super featherweight champion Diego Corrales had been in the works since March 2000 when the two fighters co-headlined a boxing card in which both successfully defended their titles against Gregorio Vargas and Derrick Gainer respectively.
After months of negotiations, promoter Bob Arum finally announced on December 1, 2000, that he had signed the two undefeated fighters to compete the following month on January 20, 2001. By the time of his fight with Mayweather, Corrales no longer held the IBF super featherweight title. Corrales has previously expressed his intentions to move up to the 135-pound lightweight division, leading to his managers Cameron Dunkin and Barrett Silver notifying the IBF that he would be relinquishing the title. Corrales, however, claimed that Dunkin and Silver had relinquished the title without his consent, causing a rift between the two parties, which then resulted in Corrales dismissing both men as his managers. Dunkin and Silver would file an injunction after the fight after Corrales attempted to cut them out of the percentage of his purse they claimed they were owed.
In the summer before the fight, Corrales had been arrested and charged for domestic abuse against his then-pregnant wife Maria and was expected to be formally sentenced for the alleged crime after his fight with Mayweather. Mayweather would taunt Corrales about his misfortunes vowing that he would defeat Corrales on behalf of “every battered woman out there.” When Corrales was made aware of the insult he promised to “pound and hurt” Mayweather and had posters of Mayweather affixed to punch bags with the words “kill Floyd” on the bottom. Though Corrales was two spots ahead of Mayweather on The Ring magazine’s pound-for-pound rankings, Mayweather nevertheless entered the fight as a 7-5 favorite

🥊 Shakur Stevenson vs Jamel Herring | WBO Super-Featherweight Title | FULL FIGHT HIGHLIGHTS
In September 2021, it was announced that Shakur Stevenson (16-0, 8 KOs) would challenge Jamel Herring (23–2, 11 KOs) for the full WBO junior lightweight champion on October 23 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
Herring was coming off a career-best win earlier in the year, stopping former world champion Carl Frampton to retain his world title. Due to Stevenson holding the interim belt, Herring had to make a choice of either fighting him next or vacating.
Oscar Valdez made it clear he wanted the winner of this bout next. Bob Arum who promoted all three boxers at the time also made it clear he would make the fight next.
At the weight-in, a stone faced Herring weighed 129.8 pounds, and Stevenson came in at the 130 pound limit. Despite being the champion going into the fight, Herring was the underdog, however brushed it off saying, “Look at all my big fights. I was an underdog against Ito, Frampton, this one. So, it doesn’t mean much to me.”

🤔Fury’s GREATEST Victory? vs Deontay Wilder II | 🎂Gypsy King turns 3️⃣8️⃣ | FULL FIGHT HIGHLIGHTS
Deontay Wilder 42–0–1 (41 KO) vs. Tyson Fury II 29–0–1 (20 KO), billed as Unfinished Business, was a heavyweight professional boxing rematch between undefeated and reigning WBC champion Deontay Wilder and undefeated former unified heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, for the WBC and vacant TBRB and The Ring heavyweight titles. The event took place on February 22, 2020, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Paradise, Nevada.
The first fight had ended in a controversial split draw. Commentators thought that Fury had done enough to dethrone Wilder in the first bout, but uncertainty remained as Fury had been knocked down twice, and the bookmakers had Wilder as a slight favorite going into the rematch.
The fight was jointly promoted by Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions, Bob Arum’s Top Rank and Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions. According to Arum, it was confirmed that it achieved 800,000 – 850,000 pay-per-view buys in the United States.[8] Fury’s performance gained widespread praise; it was hailed as “sensational” and one of the most impressive displays from a heavyweight title bout in recent years.

🥊 Teofimo Lopez vs Josh Taylor | WBO Light-Welterweight Title | FULL FIGHT HIGHLIGHTS
The build-up to the Teofimo Lopez (18-1) vs. Josh Taylor (19–0) WBO junior welterweight title showdown was defined by intense personal animosity, mental health scrutiny, and fierce stylistic debates.
The pre-fight promotion took a dark and highly controversial turn due to the hostile rhetoric between both fighters.
In the lead-up, Teofimo Lopez made highly criticized, irresponsible comments stating that he wanted to literally “take Josh Taylor’s life” inside the ring.
The reigning champion, Josh Taylor, completely dismissed Lopez’s mental state, frequently labeling the American a “clown” and promising to make him pay for his words with “spite in his punches”.
Lopez entered the build-up as a significant underdog. After losing his lightweight titles to George Kambosos Jr. and delivering a few shaky performances at 140 lbs, many analysts openly questioned if he still possessed his “Takeover” spirit or the mental fortitude to defeat an elite champion.
Taylor was returning from a grueling 15-month layoff following his highly controversial split-decision victory over Jack Catterall. The build-up heavily focused on whether “The Tartan Tornado” had deteriorated or if the long break had cured his previous injuries.
The bout took place on 10th June 2023 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden.
