Nigel Farage shuts down pro-Putin ‘NONSENSE’ as he rules out Reform UK investigation
Nigel Farage says he does not have the power to investigate his party after the former leader of Reform UK in Wales was jailed for accepting Russian bribes.
Questioned by GB News’ Katherine Forster, the Reform UK leader sniped back at Sir Keir Starmer, who used today’s PMQs to accuse Farage’s party of being riddle with pro-Putin propaganda.
In response, Farage said: “The Putin stuff’s nonsense. Just because I said in 2013 that I admired him as a political operator, but didn’t like him as a human being before the Ukrainian invasion, I’m Putin supported?”
He added: “The Queen met Putin after I’d said that whether she was about an sympathiser, perhaps you better ask the Prime Minister. I don’t know.”
