In 2002, a brutal attack on five young men put a little-known Edmonton street gang into the public spotlight: the Alberta Warriors.

What followed was a sprawling police investigation, more than 150 charges, six suspects—and allegations connecting several of the accused to a gang with roots in Western Canada’s prison system.

This documentary examines the Alberta Warriors, an Edmonton-area gang that emerged from the prison and street-gang landscape of the 1990s and early 2000s, and the criminal case that would bring the name onto the front page of the Edmonton Journal.
