Nigeria has unveiled its first memorial dedicated to Christians killed in religious persecution, honoring 270 victims of last year’s massacre in Yelvata, Benue State. The names of the martyrs have been carved in stone. Survivors and religious leaders attended the ceremony, where humanitarian aid was also provided to displaced families.

A new independent UN inquiry says Israel has continued to commit genocide in Gaza by deliberately targeting Palestinian children.

The report says children make up around 30% of those killed and points to attacks on residential areas, healthcare facilities, repeated displacement, starvation, and severe trauma among children. Israel has rejected the findings.
