Kemi Badenoch’s new net zero proposals have been slammed as ‘absolute and utter madness.’
The Conservative Party leader has said she will scrap net zero requirements on oil and gas companies drilling in the North Sea.
Speaking to GB News, Ed Gemmell, leader of the Climate Party, hit out at Badenoch, saying: ‘If what Kemi’s doing is auditioning for the position of deputy leader of Reform, I think it was a great move… If that wasn’t what she was doing, and she’s thinking that this might be economincally good for us, it’s absolute and utter madness.’
