The Conservatives will never merge with Reform UK as the party would take the country “into a very dark place”, shadow Chancellor Sir Mel Stride has said.

Sir Mel also refused to rule out resigning from the Tories if its leader agreed to merge with Nigel Farage’s party.

Sir Mel also launched a personal attack on Farage saying that he could not build a team to run the country and his party was a “one man band”.

Speaking to GB News’ Chopper’s Political Podcast, Sir Mel said he could not imagine any king of merger between the Conservatives and the Reform UK party.

Adam Brooks DESPAIRS at Home Office controversial guide for migrants

Published

Adam Brooks despairs at the Home Office issuing a guide to asylum seekers on how to ‘not to rape women’ in the UK.

It is just one of the resources available in a collection titled: “Understanding behaviours and expectations in the UK: a guide for asylum seekers”.

Posters and information on rape, the age of consent and child abuse are among the guides to help asylum seekers “understand what is expected when living in the UK”.

The guidance highlights child rape is illegal “even if they look older” or if “it is allowed in another country”.

Speaking on GB News, commentator Adam Brooks said: “‘This country is a joke…you can only push the British public so far.”

A Home Office spokesperson told GB News: “We expect everyone who comes to the UK to abide by our laws.

“If they do not, they will face consequences, including the refusal of their asylum claim and removal from the UK.

“Returns of failed asylum seekers have reached their highest level since 2010 under this Government.”

WATCH: Patrick Christys is FURIOUS at illegal migrants being given ‘don’t rape women guide’ by Gov

Published

Patrick Christys is furious after a Home Office pamphlet aimed at asylum seekers reportedly includes guidance explaining that sexual activity with children is illegal and that consent is required. The document has sparked a heated debate, with critics questioning why such basic guidance is being given to migrants arriving in the UK. Patrick reacts to what he sees as a shocking admission from the government and asks what the pamphlet says about the people it is intended for.

Director of Popular Conservatives Mark Littlewood joins the discussion, arguing that the government’s approach raises serious questions about migration, integration and public safety. He reacts to the contents of the Home Office document and the wider controversy surrounding guidance on sexual offences, asking whether such material is necessary and what message it sends to the public.

Broadcaster Nina Myskow also weighs in on the row, putting the document and the surrounding claims into context.
