US President Donald Trump has placed a 145% tariff on Chinese imports to the US, but rolled back to baseline 10% tariffs for the rest of the world for the next 90 days.

The US president on Thursday acknowledged “transition difficulty” after the US stock market fell sharply. Markets are still below where they were pre-tariffs despite Wednesday’s gains.
