The total volume of wireless data usage increased significantly from 1,60,054 petabytes (PB) in 2022-23 to 1,94,774 PB in 2023-24, a yearly growth of 21.69%.
Average minutes of usage (MOU) per subscriber per month rose from 919 in 2022-23 to 963 in 2023-24, up by 4.73%.
Financial Performance:
Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR): The telecom sector’s AGR grew from Rs 2,49,908 crore in 2022-23 to Rs 2,70,504 crore in 2023-24, an increase of 8.24%.
FM Radio Revenue: Advertising revenue from private FM radio broadcasters increased to Rs 1,775.79 crore in 2023-24.
