Suella Braverman ATTACKS “two-tier education system” as Reform UK outline apprenticeship plan
Reform UK has announced its education plans, as Suella Braverman attacked the existing “two-tier” system.
The party has announced a new Apprenticeship Wage Credit, offering SMEs a 30 per cent rebate on the wages of apprentices they take on who are aged 16-18.
Reform claims this would save the average SME more than £4,000 per year per apprentice, or over £8,000 across the lifetime of an apprenticeship.
Speaking at a press conference in London, Ms. Braverman said: “Today the British families who made our country great are the most disadvantaged in society. White British children are now the most likely group to not even enter GCSE exams. White working class boys are the group with the worst educational outcomes. This two-tier system of unfairness running throughout our educational system is deeply unfair and a grotesque waste of human talent.”

As part of the Trory ‘bloodbath’ Priti Patel has quit Kemi Badenoch’s shadow cabinet and Tom Tugendhat has been named as her successor.
Dame Priti will take on a new senior party role leading the Conservatives’ international engagement and relations.
Mr Tugendhat, a former soldier and security minister, has been a backbencher in the Tories since he challenged for party leadership in 2024.

‘If it offends you then LEAVE!’ | Alex Armstrong in SHOCK as Birmingham council BANS English flags
“If our flag offends you, then leave!” Alex Armstrong reacts with disbelief to Birmingham City Council’s attempts to restrict the display of the St George’s Cross near roads. The debate has sparked fierce arguments over national identity, pride and whether councils should have the power to decide when and where England’s flag can be displayed.
“It is an attack on our pride.” Alex Armstrong gives his reaction to the controversy, arguing that the St George’s Cross is an important symbol of English identity. The row has raised wider questions about patriotism, free expression and whether Britain’s traditional symbols are increasingly being treated as controversial.
Former Labour Minister Bill Rammell also weighs in, criticising Birmingham City Council and arguing that the council is wrong to attempt to restrict flags being displayed across Britain’s second-largest city.
