What do America’s small landlords really think about property management?

The *2026 PM Trends Report* reveals what 500 U.S. landlords who own 1–10 rental units think about property managers, from communication expectations and maintenance costs to technology adoption and the services they’re willing to pay for.

Now in its second year, PM Trends is an independent research initiative, with the 2026 survey conducted by *The Harris Poll*. The full report is available free to the industry at https://pmtrends.com.

In this recorded digital launch, *Peter Lohmann and Jordan Muela* unpack the findings alongside three property management industry leaders:

– *Vanessa Anderson, ShowMojo:* The two-week gap between perceived and actual vacancy

• 86% of single-unit owners have no plans to acquire another rental property
