Kemi Badenoch has attacked Labour’s defence plan, saying it’s a “disgrace”.

Sir Keir Starmer vowed the blueprint for Britain’s defence spending will be “another step up” in the amount spent on the military.

Speaking to the media, the Conservative Party leader dismissed the proposals, saying: “The Defence Investment Plan should have been published last autumn. We have waited and waited and now they’re telling us it’s still coming. I think that that is a disgrace.”

She added: “Labour do not understand defence.”
