Menantu Amien Rais, Ridho Rahmadi menyatakan mundur dari posisi Ketua Umum Partai Ummat.
“Iya benar Mas. Ini tour of duty biasa. Dalam organisasi yang modern, kalau pelari di depan mulai ngos-ngosan, ya disambut estafet pelari selanjutnya, sehingga tim tetap mencapai garis finis,” kata Ridho membenarkan pengunduran dirinya saat dikonfirmasi Kompas.com, Rabu (2/9/2026).
Majelis Syura Partai Ummat yang dipimpin Amien Rais telah menerima pengunduran diri Ridho Rahmadi dari jabatan Ketua Umum.
Pengunduran diri Sekretaris Jenderal Partai Ummat, Taufik Hidayat juga turut diterima dalam keputusan tersebut.
Sebagai tindak lanjut, Majelis Syura menunjuk Ansufri ID Sambo sebagai Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Ketua Umum Partai Ummat. Sementara posisi Plt Sekretaris Jenderal dipercayakan kepada Muhammad Sadiq.
