🤬Mike Tyson PUNCHES REF in CRAZY FIGHT‼️ | vs. Lou Savarese | FULL FIGHT HIGHLIGHTS | Boxing
Mike Tyson 47–3 (1) (41 KO) vs. Lou Savarese 39–3 (32 KO), billed as Tyson’s Back, was a professional boxing match contested on June 24, 2000.
Mike Tyson embarked on a comeback in 1999, marking his return to the ring after a nine-month hiatus, primarily due to a four-month prison sentence.
His comeback journey began with a victory on January 16, 1999, when he knocked out former world title challenger Francois Botha in the fifth round. Following this, Tyson faced former WBA Cruiserweight champion Orlin Norris, but their bout ended in a no-contest due to an accidental punch that landed after the bell.
Three months later, Tyson had his first-ever fight in the United Kingdom, defeating British journeyman Julius Francis by a second-round knockout. In February 2000, Tyson announced his next opponent, fringe contender Lou Savarese. Initially slated for Milan in May, the bout was postponed after Tyson reportedly needed more time to train.
The fight was then moved to Hampden Park in Glasgow, and rescheduled for 24 June. The decision to allow Tyson back into the United Kingdom sparked protests due to his prior rape conviction, but Glasgow City Council ultimately voted 10–1 in favor of permitting the match to proceed.

Nigel Benn vs Chris Eubank 1 | FULL FIGHT HIGHLIGHTS | WBO Middleweight Boxing
Nigel Benn 27–1 (25 KO) vs. Chris Eubank 24–0 (14 KO), billed as Who’s Fooling Who?, was a professional boxing match contested on 18 November 1990, for the WBO middleweight championship.
Both Benn and Eubank fought at middleweight and super middleweight around the same time in 1985–97, and became rivals on both the domestic and world boxing scene. Benn won his first 22 consecutive bouts by knockout, earning the moniker ‘the Dark Destroyer’. Eubank was the cocky, flamboyant upstart who began calling out Benn after his tenth bout. The rivalry grew, with both men swearing that they would knock the other man out.
Benn, having lost to Michael Watson, began to rebuild in America, winning the WBO middleweight title by knocking out Doug DeWitt. He then savaged Iran Barkley within one round in his first defence. Benn then agreed to meet Eubank with his title on the line, which set up the first fight. A rematch was held three years later.
Once Benn had agreed to the first fight with Eubank, his entourage began plotting ways to demoralise Eubank and ‘even things up’. They decided to sabotage his entrance music. As Eubank made his ring walk to the sound of Tina Turner’s ‘Simply the Best’, the record suddenly stopped. Eubank ignored this, and made his way to the ring apron and vaulted to the rope as per usual.

Iran Barkley vs Roberto Duran | FULL FIGHT HIGHLIGHTS | WBC Middleweight Boxing |
Iran Barkley 25–4 (16 KO) vs. Roberto Durán 84–7 (62 KO), billed as Steel vs. Stone, was a professional boxing match contested on February 24, 1989, for the WBC middleweight title.
The fight was The Ring magazine’s fight of the year for 1989.
In his previous fight on June 6, 1988, Iran Barkley had upset the reigning WBC middleweight champion Thomas Hearns to claim Hearns’ title. For his first defense, Barkley reached an agreement with Roberto Durán that was contingent on Durán first defeating unheralded journeyman Jeff Lanas in October that same year.
Though Durán barely eked out a split decision win against Lanas, the Barkley-Durán fight was made official in December with it taking place February the following year.
The now-37-year old Durán, who had not had a title fight since being knocked out inside of two rounds by Thomas Hearns in 1984 and had fought mostly unknowns since returning to boxing in 1986, was thought to be washed up and came into the fight as underdog.
Durán’s last title win had come against Barkley’s childhood friend Davey Moore in 1983. Moore had been killed in a freak accident only six months prior and Barkley had hoped to dedicate a victory to his fallen friend stating “This is personal because I remember Duran not so long ago against my friend Davey Moore. This is for Davey, this is really for Davey. I want (Duran) to know from the bottom of my heart, no one can take this title.” Barkley also vowed that the fight would be Durán’s “last hurrah.” Durán was unbothered by Barkley’s trash talk, retorting “Barkley is saying what he’s going to do and not going to do. Come Feb. 24, he’s the one who’s got to worry. I’m going to demonstrate I’m not finished like a lot of people say. I’m going to prove it.”
On the day of the fight, there was some minor controversy at the pre-fight weigh-in which took place to ensure both fighters were at the 160 pound middleweight limit. While Durán weighed in at 156 pounds, Barkley’s initial reading came in at over 164 pounds, which if correct would have led to him being immediately stripped of the title and the fight called off.
After protests from Barkley’s camp, he was allowed to be re-weighed and came in at 159 pounds with the 5 pound discrepancy being explained as Barkley standing on the back edge of the scale.
