In this episode, I’m recapping a recent executive leadership forum where leaders came together to discuss the biggest workplace and leadership trends shaping organizations right now. Drawing from insights in the latest Gallup and Deloitte workforce reports, the conversation explored the growing pressure organizations face to move faster, adapt faster, and integrate AI, while employee engagement, trust, and manager capacity continue to decline.

The key trends we focused on are:
-Employee Engagement Continues to Decline
-AI is Accelerating Faster Than Organizations Are Ready For
-Speed and Agility Are the New Competitive Advantage
-Leadership Expectations Have Expanded

Organizations are navigating a difficult balancing act: accelerating transformation and AI adoption while maintaining engagement, trust, and healthy leadership cultures.

If something in this conversation resonated with you, I’d love to connect. Whether you’re navigating AI integration, leadership development, team trust, or organizational alignment, these conversations matter now more than ever.

Vintage in Pills KRIZIA Spring 1995 Milan – Fashion Channel

Vintage in Pills KRIZIA Spring 1995 Milan – Fashion Channel

Mariuccia Mandelli’s Autumn/Winter 1995 collection for Krizia was presented during Milan Fashion Week, marking the brand’s 40th anniversary alongside the centenary of cinema. The show was structured around cinematic references, opening with archival-style Movietone audio and sequences of classic black and white film excerpts, establishing a narrative grounded in screen history and visual memory.

The collection develops a language of controlled glamour through elongated, streamlined silhouettes. Glossy trench coats and tailored suits set the foundation, paired with knitwear layered over slim skirts and belted at the waist to define shape. Mohair clutch coats appear over knitted dresses, while soft tailoring introduces pantsuits with wrapped waists that emphasise fluid structure rather than rigidity.

Eveningwear continues this focus on refinement and surface. Cigarette trousers are paired with glittered sheaths finished with fringe, alongside beaded bustiers and slim sequined dresses. Variations of the tuxedo, including contrasting black and red interpretations, reinforce a tailored evening silhouette rooted in contrast and precision.

The finale references the construction of the cinematic star image, with satin halter dresses featuring deep necklines and extended trains worn by Nadége du Bospertus and Helena Christensen. Accessories complete the looks with opera gloves, pearl jewellery, berets, patent leather heels, two-tone boots, and leather waist belts, styled with polished hair and makeup that reinforce the collection’s filmic reference points.

Vintage in Pills VERSUS by VERSACE Fall 2004 Milan – Fashion Channel

Vintage in Pills VERSUS Fall 2004 Milan – Fashion Channel

Donatella Versace’s Versus collection frames itself around the tension between teenage rebellion and parental approval, responding to the idea of a “sanitised” punk ethos as it has been absorbed into contemporary youth culture.

The collection is structured as a junior counterpart to the main Versace line, with proportions and attitudes adjusted rather than radically redefined. Silhouettes reference punk codes through tartan mini-kilts, orange biker suits, and tiger-patterned denim, all cut in shorter, more fitted versions that emphasise youth-oriented styling. Jersey dresses appear in asymmetric constructions, introducing irregularity within otherwise simple silhouettes.

Hardware is a defining element throughout, with Medusa-head cuffs and heavy chain belts used as recurring structural accents rather than decorative additions. These components anchor the garments visually and reinforce the collection’s focus on surface detail and styling over complex tailoring.

The overall direction positions the line within a dual audience, where pieces are designed to move between teenage wardrobes and shared family spaces, echoing a broader cultural shift in how rebellion and fashion consumption overlap across generations.
