Step into the wild west with Catherine Malandrino’s “Wanted” Fall collection, presented at a raw space in NYC’s meat-packing district next to the infamous Hogs & Heifers bar. Following her Spring collection at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, Malandrino brings a theatrical flair to Western-themed fashion.
The runway was ablaze with models sporting deeply smudged eyes and tumbleweed-inspired hair, adorned in blouses intricately shirred, embroidered, and smocked. Paired with elaborate trousers, including the iconic low-waisted, ruched “Wanted” pants that sweep the floor, the collection exuded frontier chic. Leather appliqué and statement coats added strength to the lineup.
