Politics and Drinking Water – Congress has to realize that countless testing of signature chemicals and pharmaceutical medications were found at the highest elevation in the World groundwater spring discharge from Hikers urination and defecation countless decades ago.
We did nothing with the science. Therefore like the Covid Wastewater Studies at thousands of plants across the country during that crisis that woke up the country. This current scientific study will determine where the any and water levels of all pharmaceutical medications are being distributed across the United States. Every Water Source in the World is polluted with countless Pharmaceutical Compounds. Unless you are squeezing the water through high tech membrane micro filtration at your local water plants you will find any compound due to limited conventional drinking water treatment capabilities and most certainly very limited removal efficiency of our conventional wastewater treatment plants. The Pollution Cycle of these compounds have been and is a very large issue. This most certainly will bring light on how clean do we want our water and can we afford to treat water at this level. Many questions that have needed to be answered for countless decades to be perfectly honest, our industry leaders have done a piss poor job providing citizens the true science about these countless issues. They need to quit lying to the American Public. You are public servants no more, no less. Many Large Water System Plant Laboratories have known about these pharmaceutical compound issues for countless decades yet chose not to disclose their findings to the citizens that paid for complex tests through rates and taxes.
