Reform UK have found themselves PRAISING Sir Keir Starmer after the Prime Minister announced that pubs are set to stay open until 5am for England’s last 16 World Cup clash against Mexico.

The match at the Azteca Stadium kicks off at 1am on Monday, creating a headache for publicans hoping to host fans for the knockout fixture.

The outgoing Prime Minister has announced that pubs across England and Wales will be able to stay open for the contest.

Speaking to Martin Daubney on GB News, Robert Jenrick found himself in the unusual position of celebrating Keir Starmer.

He said: “Finally, a decision by Keir Starmer that we can all get behind. Well done Keir!”

The Reform UK Shadow Chancellor also joked: “I would just say, though, the government changed the law to allow pubs to stay open a bit longer, but they didn’t change it to help with this match, so presumably Keir Starmer didn’t think that England was going to get through to the quarter-finals and didn’t believe in England!”
