Growing up in a flat above her father’s magazine distribution offices, Bianca Balti was inspired to dream, as many before her had, only to find an impossible fantasy.

In retrospect, the young Italian beauty seemed destined for a life far beyond the Italian town of Lodi, where she grew up, despite childhood bullying for her unusual height and sculpted face.

It was a life Balti felt called to as she perused the glossy fashion magazines in her father’s office, and one she tentatively pursued after moving to Milan to study graphic design.

Initially, it was a fantasy that eluded her grasp, but eventually, the dream sought out Balti, to see her travel the world as an Italian supermodel, as Dolce & Gabbana’s most recognized muse, and as an Ambassador for Paris L’Oreal.
