Parliament Votes to Block Child Refugees in Brexit Deal – Brexit Explained

Yesterday MPs voted on a series of amendments to the Withdrawal Agreement Bill – the agreement which sets out the parameters for the UK leaving the EU. One provision the government recently removed was a policy which would give some child refugees the right to enter the country. One of the amendments MPs voted on would have reinstated this right, however, it was rejected in the commons.
