China Fires Missiles Near Taiwan As Tensions Rise (Front Page News)

The courage to speak the truth is a virtue!

China threatened that they would engage, with their full military strength, anyone who would want to interfere with Taiwan and try to save the island from the Chinese Communist government. The United States came along and dared them to by Pelosi’s visit to the island nation and now, the Chinese are firing missiles near Taiwan in one of its numerous military drills around the Taiwan Strait, which began after Pelosi visited Taiwan.

You will recall that China and the U.S have been at loggerheads over the issue of Taiwan, and it is funny that though the U.S has no diplomatic ties to Taiwan, they still try to interfere in the affairs of the country, without regard for the consequences. Before you get the wrong idea, I am all for freedom and democracy but the method that the Democrats and the United States are employing in this Taiwan issue is not commendable.

There is a war currently going on in Ukraine that has caused havoc in numerous world economies as a consequence. The price of commodities has gone up across the globe, leading to widescale inflation in the world. Now, in this conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the EU and NATO are involved by virtue of being on Ukraine’s side.

But what has that done to help with the war effort? Thousands of Ukrainian citizens are still being killed and buildings are still being blown up in a show of Russian resilience. Even with the economic sanctions imposed on Russia, they are still going strong.

And what effect has the U.S aid done to help turn the war in Ukraine’s favour? Nothing significant. Biden climbs the podium and condemns Russia, threatening Putin that he would regret his actions but then he doesn’t send troops to war torn Ukraine.

No extra fighting power for the Ukrainian army. Ukrainians agree that it was indeed Boris Johnson who was their country’s biggest supporter, and it was he who had rallied the rest of Europe to make a significant effort to help Ukraine. Now, where is the U.S in all this?

I don’t mean to sound like a prophet of doom but if care isn’t taken, we could see the same thing happen between China and Taiwan, and the U.S who would have probably caused this would be nowhere in sight. Maybe Biden would climb the podium again and condemn China, as he did Russia, then give reasons why he can’t risk sending troops to Taiwan. It would be pathetic if that happens.
